I am investigating these latest impersonations because people have advised me that the Lestat impersonator is having a bad effect on people. This I can not allow.

Uh huh.... Are you going to stop this by throwing your old editors at them?

Maybe in her next book Anne can make herself/Lestat/whoever-she-is-next into someone who has a life.
