Crystal Gamgee Wank: a Mini Wank
So far the 'almighty' Crystal hasn't gotten into it herself, or has she?

A metaquote poking fun at Crystal replying to a comment spins off into wank in the comment thread in a way that only Crystal!wank can!

Anon poster - I'm not trying to help my case at all. I don't give a damn what you all think about me. I know the REAL CG and you do not. I know that she could care less what you think about her "art" and I know she laughs at the lot of you, just as much as you laugh at her.

Oh lord. How strange that this should happen when I've just spent the weekend trying to recreate those immortal days in April while I read Crystal!Wank for the first time. (I'm on about page 22 now guys ... how much fun will I have in the next 50 pages or so?)

I'm very confused guys, so can you try to clear something up for me?

I've been looking at this picture (http://www.deviantart.com/view/9967929/) in her devianrART gallery. Now, she is acknowledging that the source for the shirt and guitar is these (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/seanachai/NME1sm.jpg) two pics (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/seanachai/NME2combine.jpg)? Right? (I mean, it's obvious she just took Sid's face, then snatched one of those images of a blank t-shirt you see at some sort of online store, made black rings, and fucked around with the lettering so it was straight ... and meshed the two images of the guitar together and made the head a little longer.) She doesn't SAY it's from those Dan shots, and she doesn't correct someone who comments saying "The guitar looks so real! Just like a photograph." (That's because it is.) Maybe she just means the way it is posed in his hands?

Sorry if I sound clueless, I do know a bit about Photoshop but not about the way people talk about manips online.

Whatever happened to the CrystalWank website?

I ask because: remember when she posted a "step-by-step" of her drawings, and it was glaringly obvious that she'd simply taken a photomanip and carefully erased bit after bit, taking screenshots the whole time?

Her "how to make an incredibly realistic drawing of Elijah Wood using Photoshop" looks eerily similar. I just wanted to compare.
