I do not want to so much be reminded that anything as foul and yes, masturbatory as you exists.
Bad fic, troll baiting, Fiction Alley Mods, pompous acedemics and much much more in this latest installment of Harry Potter Wank!

I don't know what the rest of this wank is about (although going back through mollymoon's journal looks promising) but this response is possibly one of the wankiest things I've ever seen and must be commemorated.

(In reply to a comment by Aja about the homophobic tone of FPBs fic:)
"But who is so prejudiced, narrow-minded, and utterly incapable of reading anything except through the black glasses of her hatred, that her reading is worth about as much as that of an Al Quaeda member. YOu pathetic ignorant fool, Harry was drunk; not only drunk, but viciously and aggressively drunk; not only viciously drunk, but gone to that place exactly in order to get drunk. And you take his insults to Draco seriously? You pompous fool, they are the ordinary currency of barroom brawls."</a>

Because whatsisname has written a post-hogwarts vignette in which harry is a drunken, bitter, touchy-feely dumpee in a biker bar, and Draco is bewildered yet repulsed by Harry's embarrassing public display and attempted molestation of his old enemy, and naturally, the reader is to assume from this that Harry is the sympathetic character and Draco is living in his own delusion-filled form of reality.

And what is with the fics using other people's full names? Did I get that right?

I think that mollymoon wrote a fic (with others) with FPB in it as the villain or whatever. I haven't actually checked it out, but that's what people seem to be implying.

Feel free to research and clarify more! Am a lazy wanka, yo.

And what is with the fics using other people's full names? Did I get that right?

FPB has some sort of long-winded crush on his friend named Debbie Wallace. He posted a heroic fic that featured Ms Debbie Wallace. Of course, the fic also had her being captured by Death Eaters or some such nonsense.

In his LJ, FPB also proclaims his love for Debbie and talks about how "in his mind" he's married to her. Insert more creepy stalkeresque things about him and Debbie Wallace. And long-winded, melodramatic poetry, too.

Then Molly Moon wrote a fic called "The Half Frog Prince" that included Debbie Wallace and Fabio P Barbieri. He's never hidden his full (real) name, so she figured it was fair game. In "Prince", mafia stereotypes abound (FPB is Italian) and Debbie Wallace is praised for being the 'smart one who chose the other man' or something like that.

Most of it's a result of a long-standing grudge between Molly Moon and FPB. It seems that MM does it more because it's amusing and FPB's an ass, and he's more defensive because... well, he's the one getting attacked.

One of FPB's deluded followers ended up running to FictionAlley and finally the mods/coders/whoever took down both fics and said that if they wanted the fics back up, they had to change the names being used in them (ie, no real person names without consent of the person).

Then again that's totally ignoring the wank that was the Narcissa Malfoy v. Webba thing, which was an offshoot of the FPB v. Molly Moon thing.

I'm sorry, but .... Niffling?

You know you've been in fandom way too long when you can read fic of that 'caliber' and be more hung up on the random fannish bit of slang than on the weird ass lines like such -- “It makes sense, you know. Millicent was telling me about the people who come into her counselling service, and a lot of the gay men either have no fathers or some sort of tragedy in their family history.”

Because everyone knows that straight people don't come from broken homes and have these skipping through daisies lives without anything bad happening to them ever. And I got a copy of a draft of the next Potter book if anyone wants to buy it.

So happy I don't read these books, thus avoiding the temptation to get into this batshit insane fandom.

her reading is worth about as much as that of an Al Quaeda member

Is there a rule about this, or does it fall under a broadly "Godwin" umbrella? Because I do suspect there are rather a lot of people thinking they can get around Godwin's Rule by swapping the Nazis for Al Quaeda.

MollyMoon here.

I just wanted to clarify three things, then I'll allow the mocking to continue:

1) I wrote Half Frog Prince (http://www.riddikulus.org/authors/mmoon/HFP.html) as a counter to FPB's story wherein he included the name of women he knew and "loved" in real life. I thought that his doing that without her permission, and including personal details went way to far. He wouldn't listen to reason, so I went for satire.

2) The name of his ex was never in my fic, but was in the original A/N. An extra jab at FPB that I probably shouldn't have taken, but hey, once my Naughty Voice gets started, its sometimes hard to stop.

3) The person above who said that I'm doing this out of amusement rather than anger hit the nail on the head. If this wasn't fun or funny, I wouldn't have been able to write "Half Frog Prince" as a comedy. Plain and simple.

Have a good time kids, and wank away.

This is a great wank, but could the OP have provided better links? I mean, there's more here than the reply to Aja's post. There's calling people Nazis too. And slime queens (that's me). I didn't post it because it'd have had to go on I Wank, then, but I'd have included links to the two insane threads themselves: I generally take no interest whatever in the people who tried (when I knew nothing whatever about them) to make me a fandom wolf's-head and FA mods are still lying daughters-of-bitches, but then I already knew that.

OP? I think it would maximize the enjoyment to have those links easy to access.

FPB's fic that was taken down from FA is still up at another site: About a Skivvy (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/1917474/1/). This is the fic that prompted Molly Moon to write her Half-Frog Prince story.

This is how the fic describes Debbie Wallace, the woman who turned down FPB, now the object of FPB's creepy stalkerish obsession.

After all, she had spent most of her life working. The birth of her first child, when she was only sixteen, had marked her for ever. Her family had wanted her to abort him; when she refused, they threw her out, and she had to find employment somehow. By the time she was an adult, she had gone through more suffering and effort than many people experience in a lifetime, including falling into a bad drinking habit and kicking it by her own unaided efforts. Yet her face did not show it. Perhaps because she tended to be slightly overweight – nothing serious, but just enough to round out her features and limbs – she somehow managed to seem little more than a teen-ager, fresh-faced, with huge ingenuous blue eyes and naturally curly hair – unruly, she complained, but many women would spend good money for that luminous tone of brown and those round, delightful locks. She was, in her own way, very pretty, with tiny, graceful hands and feet; not that it had done her a lot of good, since she seemed to have an infallible gift for attracting the wrong men. A series of disastrous relationships had left her with two children from different fathers and a resolution never again to let anyone male into her life. She was a generous little creature, whose many friends tended to rely on her; it was only from time to time that one came upon something less pleasant – a streak of obstinacy, a habit never to tell anyone what she meant to do, and a tendency to tell people what they wanted to hear rather than what she intended, that could sometimes lead to dire consequences when anyone took her word too seriously.

And this is how Debbie kills Bellatrix Lestrange:

Bellatrix’ spells bent in on themselves, useless and agonizing, as those unrelenting hands grabbed her and forced her back, slowly but without cease, millimetre by undelayed, inexorable millimetre. She faced a woman of iron; something that no effort could tire, no threat daunt, no wind or storm turn back. Debbie Wallace was in her elemental form, with everything accessory or superficial stripped away – nothing but the bare focus, hardened in years of tiring and thankless work, the certainty that there was one thing, and one only, that had to be done – and that therefore she would do it, whatever it cost, whatever it took. That had the magic done: not given her anything from outside, any of the fancy enrichments and showy if effective tricks that so boosted Bella’s self-esteem – simply a physical, present revelation of the soul inside, of the unbreakable will below the gentle unassuming exterior. Bella knew many tricks, a whole encyclopedia of tricks; Debbie had only one, but it was a humdinger.

Hell hath no fury like a man scorned. "How dare you reject me! Next time I write a fic, you'll be the Mary Sue!"
