OMG Mac's GAY?!?!?
For those of you who do NOT obessively follow the story of Mr Macaulay Culkin, a quick recap...he's been recently 'romantically linked' with Jeffrey Brunner. He's refusing to 'confirm or deny' the allegations.

Needless to say, this hits IMDB and the shit hits the fan. The first (and actually LESS psycho, despite including the line 'Gay all his life? No, it's probably because Michael Jackson popped him when he was a preteener') thread is linked up there.

The second, however, is over here. And when your thread begins with this...

I was like I was shocked that I saw his page for spouse part because he's changing to be gay that is messed up for him but I hope he will change back to normal for his life. Agree? Last year, I heard from my other friend told me that some good old friends of mine for 9 (12) years (1992-2001) from my deaf school in Cincinnati, OH - some are gay that I know who some because they told me the news but it's shocking. It's stupid but most of us are straight thank god! right?

Well, I don't even think I need to say where it goes. We've got gay!wank, religious!wank, deafness!wank (not kidding.) and bi!wank. And all of this over something which might not even be true...but, honestly, is making me grin like an idiot and HOPE.

ETA: ANOTHER thread, this starting off the ex-girlfriend factor...

ETA2: And it keeps going and going and going. Keep an eye out for a special appearance by your saviour and mine, Elijah Wood.

And am I the only one who gets really really annoyed when people refer to someone who isn't gay as "normal"? It's like they are growing a fetus out of the side of their head or something.

She said she went to a deaf school---deaf people learn a different type of sentence structure when they learn sign language.

Of course if she had English classes as well, she would learn the speaking world's way as well. But it's probably more natural for her to write that way.

I am not defending her anti-gay sentiment, however.

That second thread, I don't know whether to laugh or to... well, laugh and applaud?

Besides, since when did dating or even marrying a member of the other gender prove anything about the lack of homosexual feelings? I mean, bisexuality is real. So is confusion re: sexual orientation, and denial, and trying to fit into the normal mold by "giving it a shot" or two or a whole bucketfull.

It's really not fair to gang up on the deaf girl about her grammar and syntax. ASL and English are lightyears apart, as I'm slowly learning in ASL 101.

In English, the sentence is "I went to the store with my friends and bought milk and bread."

In ASL, I think it would be "I go-there store accompany friend++ purchase milk, bread." (And I'm probably wrong, ASL is rather difficult)

It's rather difficult to transliterate from ASL to English, as they lack "to be" verbs such as be, is, was, were, etc. Cut the girl some slack on her grammar.

Her homophobia, however, is fair game. What a cow.
