Truthfully though, yeah the Haruka being a man in her past life is all bullshit. Takeuchi never said that in any interview. 	Was the S arc of the manga translated already? I vaguely recall something about hermadaphroites (sp?) and Haruka in the manga, but since I was feeling lazy and stuff I didn't bother trying to translate it. Sigh I believe that should only apply to the anime version of the Sailor Starlights which appear in the final season of SM.

In the manga they were women who cross dressed as men to hid their identities. In the anime it was a bit more confusing I think the consensus was they had a male form and a female form with the female form being their 'true form', or something like that.

The senshi themselves are all women. Haruka is a woman, she's just very, very, butch.
