The Haven Board is a spot known throughout the world internet as the home of XF wank. Their show is long since over, but wank remains.

Apparently, the mods decided to get rid of the MSR folder, home to a certain clique group of fans. The MSR bunch has been shuffled over to the Coffee Clutch, the board’s off topic-folder and home to another elitist group of fans. Tensions have been mounting, and by golly, Oz! has had enough of the MSR fans’ excessive posting in her territory.

Within, you will find hilarity of the “Help, help, we’re being oppressed!” type, debate over whether or not joking about Satan is cool, pushy elitist bitches, the assertion that bad grammar = “rape and butchering”, angerballism, "If you don't like it, don't read it. Nyah!", English as a second language wank, and the gratuitous use of oversized text.

The thread is 11 pages long and filled with a lot of conversation that consists only of emoticons, so I will spare you and provide you only with the good stuff. We’re throwing away the cookie and keeping the creamy middle here.

Oz! starts the wankball rolling: “may I remind the Grognasses that this is OUR playground? Not just yours. Since the mods decided to close the MSR folder (not sure what their reasons were but they must have had reasons), and you're now forced to play here, you could at least show some kind of civilized behavior / the very basics of politeness and try to fit/blend in instead of attempting to take over the clutch and turn it into your grognasse-land.

we will not tolerate colonization! The clutch is NOT the "New MSR" as one of you put it so eloquently.”

At first, both MSRs and Clutchies respond politely, speaking of peaceful coexistence and the sharing of sandboxes. There is some speculation as to who was behind the demise of the MSR folder, and a couple responses have the faint stink of passive-aggression around them, but almost everyone seems willing to take the higher road.

Then usf5678 shows up on page 2, lamenting for “the good old days.” A few Clutchies agree, and Oz the OP shows up with this cryptic comment: “yeah you're right. Wanna hear my personal opinion? [Will yelling "Fuck no!" stop you?] Haven jumped the shark about 2 years ago... maybe Amy should euthanise it.”

DFS agrees, with a heaping spoonful of sarcasm: “Well, you know ... I really do enjoy hearing what bras people are wearing today and what music they are listening to right this every second. It absolutely makes my day! Why in the world would you want to cut off such a wondrous source of inspiration and creativity? It has been a very long time since I have seen such creative grammar. My deciphering skills have been put to the test. Loads of fun!”

chrisnu fires back with the classic response, “If you don't like it, don't read it. Plain and simple,” while jessie pulls the sarcasm out of her back pocket and says, “sorry for not being so smart and interested as you are.”

There are laments for the days of old, for the poor, unwanted MSRs, and there are thinly veiled threats to leave The Haven FOREVAH. There is also a lot of incomprehensible babble and emoticon abuse.

phantagrae addresses Oz’s thoughts, and ends up calling the Clutch a “slightly clique-ish place” in a sort of roundabout way, which provokes Oz! into proving phantagrae’s point by saying, “you're not a regular of this folder, so forgive me if I ask you: WTF do you care about what's going on here?”

Pleas for everyone to stop fighting, and the declaration by jessie that the conflict is “just too much real life” ensue. More importantly, though, is it okay to make Satan jokes? Oz! declares, “I don't think jokes about Satan are funny. That's stuff that shouldn't be messed with imo.” Which, in Oz world, means that no one is allowed to make Satan jokes because this is HER hive vagina board, damn you!

Ejdzent Skali just wants to know “why are you such a ball of anger?”

poucky tries to diffuse the situation by contributing her thoughts: “we don't want either to be here, why the msr closed and not the clutch???!!! i would have been so glad to see your folks lost like us. we didn't deserve that and it's not our fault so be nice with us because we are the masters of the world.”

vulpes makes a heart-wrenching plea for tolerance: “We are looking for our place. We are lost. We just want some peace and loving.”

jessie laments: “if you are trying to make us all go away, in my case you are succeding. I hope you will sleep more peacefully knowing that.”

Vicki the mod steps in and tells everyone to chill, and kiss declares that s/he is “shocked and disappointed” at this shameless display of wanking. A disillusioned Sarah proclaims, “I am just shoked...It is not my Haven,sorry...”

Finally, Vicki locks the thread, and the curtain drops on yet another Haven wank. All is well in The Haven. Or it is until some rumours about the second XF movie come up and the Doggett bashing begins. We'll have to sit tight for that.
