First time post, because I just had to share this...

We have a writer over in Stargate fandom who appears to be even more bat-shit than anyone previously reported (and that's up against some mighty stiff competition, what with the beagle botherer and the lunatic Jonas lovers). She's been writing a series of novels with her own original character shagging Daniel Jackson and posting significant chunks of them to one of the more popular lists.

However, this prima donna has a bit of a bug up her butt about the concept of people having access to the results of her god-like creative genius. So much so that she will only post part of her stories from her website on the list she's been ~~spamming~~ gracing with her creativity.

The plot thickens, however, when she then starts granting special dispensations to people who are disabled and therefore cannot read on the computer, since she doesn't want the general riff raff 'stealing' her creative product by downloading it. Because people should be reading it on her website, as God intended! In fact, people who download her fic in order to read it in other ways are, according to her, 'thieves' and 'site suckers'.

One person I know mailed the writer in question to get access to the rest of the story (since she has the requisite physical problems) and the writer set her a quiz on the previous chapters to test she'd actually read it before she would agree to send it to her! People who fail are allocated to the 'Hall of Shame' and threatened with being reported to their ISP.

E.T.A. And now we have a response from the author (let me know a url if anyone has saved this in toto, please?) and an attempt at martyrdom, after Geoshitties take down her site for either TOS violation and/or bandwidth spike. Oh, the humanity!

OK, it's the author's turn now!
The first five chapters of Every New Beginning and Dark Illusions were posted ONLY to the Danieliets Mailing List(run through YahooGroups earlier this month. Announcements were made to other lists regarding the fact the site went down and that Dark Illusions was up and running, however the chapters were only posted to the Danielites List. So, guess where this person comes from.....

The person who was refused access even though they had a disability, is probably the poster of the above. She also claimed to be the List Mom of the Danielites Mailing List in her third e-mail to me. This person lied to me in their first e-mail asking for access to the ending of Dark Illusions and she lied in the second e-mail to me as well.

She wasn't refused access because of her disability, she was refused access because the trackers on this site told me ( and rightly so!)that she *had already stolen it.* Since I was suspicious of her first e-mail to me, I e-mailed her and asked her several questions with regard to the Dark Illusions story, easy ones, questions that anyone who had *actually read the material* would have the answers to. She attempted to BS her way through that and failed miserably in her second e-mail. I, of course, denied access at that point. After being denied she e-mailed me (#3 here) and it was revealed in that she had this 'disability'. I referred her to the Disclaimer Page and asked her follow the instructions there and e-mail me with the information. She never did. I'm still not sure that I believe her in the but in the end, and unfortuantely before I saw the above post, I had gotten so completely fed up with her lies and her bullshit and I actually sent her the copies she was requesting just so she'd go away.

	Thanks Rowan, it's been fun! HAH! What makes her stupidity even more amusing is that Rowan actually IS a list moderator of Danielites and has been a member for a veeery long time, and her health isn't at its best (last I heard, she had back troubles, so sitting at the computer would suck).
