Leisure Suit Larry Wank
A small, but amusing, bit of Leisure Suit Larry wank from the IGN boards.

It dies out quick, but the sheer immaturity of it makes it worth a look. Judging by the lack of wank stamina, these have to be underachieving teenagers.

Note: No need to summarize. The wank starts right at the top of the board and finishes right at the bottom.

[splorfle] It's like the mating call of the wanky gamers. "Dick, dick, dick, dick, dick, dick dick!"

Methinks some folks just haven't grown out of the 'fascination with yer wee wee' stage, yet.

People grow out of that?

Now that I think about it, probably not. Some of us just come up with more creative nicknames for them when we get older. Didn't you know? Johnny's *much* more sophisticated than Dick could ever be. ;)

Including such poetic expressions as "Crimson-helmeted Darth Vader of Love" (someone once used it in a discussion about smut fic and made me unable to watch SW with a serious face for quite a while).

If they do, I've never met any

it is incredibly amusing to see comic fanboys writhe and wriggle to try and avoid mentioning the name Dick in any kind of possibly incriminating conversation...

Even more appropriate icon! (I have a quasi endless supply, but what can I say... I loves me some Dick)

Especially in conjunction with the words "ruffled tight pants," "elf slippers" and "Boy Wonder."

The most feared combination? The technical nadir of all faux-pas? What they run away screaming from?

Anything involving Bruce and Dick.

Seriously, Wertham fucked an entire generation, made Bruce and Dick gayer than very gay gay and managed to get hugs between the batfamily outlawed. (Note that the bat-writers never fuck with this!)

And it's "hot pants", "pixie boots" and "Toy Wonder", HOR!

I too feel adventure gamer nostalgia in that exquisite and clinically painful sense. Also: King's Quest and Gabriel Knight!

Wasn't this wank further down the line an hour or so ago? Did we lose something off the top?

Ah, Cedric. With that extremely high voice. Mwahahahaaa.

OH MY GOD YES
Quest for Glory is an inextricable part of my life seriously.
Those games were so great.
I'd make more QFG related icons, but fer some reason my DOS emulator program won't let me take screenshots...otherwise I'd definitely make an Ali Fakir one. Hehehehe.

DOS emulator? Where does one get such a shiny thing? My WinXP won't let my play my favorite QfG and KQ games anymore and..and... T.T Does the emulator come with actual game downloads? O.O

DOSBox is the only DOS emulator I know of, and a good one it is, too. (Ooh, version 0.62 has been released! I'll have to test Star Control II on it as soon as possible.)

DOSbox is a great emulator yes. There's also Abandon Loader...let's see...aha! Here's an informative page that'll help out WinXP woes fer old dos games. Mwaha.
I've got a bunch of old games on me too now that are kinda hard ta find, like da KQ, SQ, and QFG series (which I think Sierra cracked down on recently) which shouldn't take me long ta send, if ya need em. :D

If you could send me the QFG series, that would rock. I only still have the disc to QFG4, but it messes up a lot and is annoying. I'd love to play the other ones. My email is miragesend@yahoo.com :D :D

Sure. I bet QFG2 will go through no prob...4 will be a pain.
Heck, I'll put em up in a temp directory fer now.
QFG1
QFG2
QFG3
QFG4
There we go. Tell me when ya've grabbed em all. They may come with some of my saved games attached, but just delete em and move on. Mwehe.

The only thing I found hard to believe is how quickly the wank ended.

The last two posts were basically "You're a dickhead" with the witty response being "No, you're the dickhead". And then nothing.

How does that happen? I guess they exhausted their reserve of clever retorts.

Yes. It died on Friday of some strange virus that slowly spread throughout it and then killed it.

But don't worry. I'm sure we'll rise from the dead on Sunday. Maybe with some new kung-fu powers, or something.
