Kurama has been phoning me all day telling me that this person is the most annoying freak in the world and won't leave him alone. Kurama and I are good buds, so he tells me everything.

Kurama is a CARTOON CHARACTER. This loon might as well be on the phone with a box of Crayolas, though it wouldn't surprise me if she thought those were talking to her as well.

I knew girls like this in high school. Both of them were batshit insane and one was fantical (OMG LEAF KURAMA ALONE U R 2 UGLIE) and the other depressed (I am sensitive and shall wither away with my animeeeee). They tend to be friends and do this when they are spatting.

Meh, it's nothing new if you've ever ventured into an anime club meeting in your disillusioned youth.

Or worse, a con. Where squeeing fangirls and "I need a girlfriend" signs haunt your dreams. It's silly, it's wanky, but I'm immune to the shock value by now or else I wouldn't have lived to this long age.

In theory they grow out of it. Then, I look at my other American classmates and I wonder. And cry.

Though I still say the girl who said to her Japanese host mother anime suki saseru! - "I'm going to make you like anime!" is about ten times more frightening. Especially because she was quoting manga soon afterward to a friend of mine. It was scary. And she's 19 or 20 or so. She should know better!
