Naruto Slash Wank!
...and things were peaceful and merry at The Naruto Forums, where fans of the increasingly popular manga/anime series Naruto could do the usual thing that one finds at communities like these, until Uzumaki Naruto had to ask THE question. The question that brings out the worst in almost any fandom. "What's Your Favorite Pairing?"

And then the fans could do that other usual thing...wank.



For a while, everything was [surprisingly] going along swimmingly. Until animeduckie mentioned Sasuke x Naruto, which sparked a flame from Ronin that was later deleted, to which Kyuubi replied. To which followed lots of SasuNaru flag waving, until the general point of the flame disappeared amidst the sound of all those flags whipping in the wind.

Then Da Supa Freak pitches in with a beef against slash fangirls.

Achsariel suggests that maybe Naruto would be better off entertaining himself.

And then jiraiya12345 brings the wank back in. To which there is another rather amusing go-round

And on and on...

And then Gaara of the Sand shows up, replies to Airichan's post with this, wherein all fans of slash are proclaimed to be sickos with no sense of human decency. As if that weren't enough, he makes parallels between Dragonball and Naruto.

But at least he makes himself [amusingly] clear:

It's not supposed to be ><, it's supposed to be >0. Why do you think we are made that way? BECAUSE WE ARE INTENDED NOT TO BE FAGS!!!!!

BTW, homophobic would suggest being afraid of homos. I am not afraid of them at all. In fact, I view them as lesser beings who have disgraced themselves and their families. If anything, I am repulsed by them.

What strikes me as the best part is how most of the posters on the thread continued merrily on with their business during the insanity. Now that's class.
