oh yeah one last thing... Die in a fire :D
Oh my. I ran across this quite by accident. It's short, but packed with splooge. O_o

At The Neverending Forums, where I randomly landed tonight after a fruitless search for porn wholesome fanfiction, I came across this gem of a wank, over the "triteness" of writing fanfic. It starts out fairly sane, with your usual (themnoria:I am encouraging TRUE creativity!) ; followed by the equally usual: (Jisipu: Don't like, don't read..)

Then along comes Strange Angel. . .

Strange Angel: Jesus Christ themnoria you need a life fast! Let me explain something to you. This is a book. It was created to entertain people. It is NOT A RELIGION you simple-minded ignoramus. Yes you are an articulate simpleton, but your convoluted logic proves that you are in fact nothing more than a pretentious fool… Get off your high horse, and get a damn life, because currently you are wasting oxygen molecules that can be better utilized by the rest of the species. Your behavior here is totally puerile, but I am willing to bet you are rather young. If your not well... The only word that springs to mind is sad. Reminds me of those militant Star Trek fans arguing about insignificant plot holes. Better yet it reminds me of a Simpsons Halloween Special. If my memory serves me correctly the French send a nuke to Springfield…

Comic Book Guy: “No Aquaman! You can’t marry a woman from the surface! You’re from two different worlds!!!

*nuke flies right at him*

Comic Book Guy: “Ohhhh I’ve wasted my life”

BOOM!

Seriously your militant antagonistic position regarding this book is nothing short of, irritating, sickeningly pathetic, and laughable. Who cares if someone is writing a fanfiction, if you don’t like it don’t read it you imbecile. There is no need to venomously attack the author who for all extensive purposes simply seems to be doing this for fun, which is the case with most fanfiction! I will repeat this one more time... GET A LIFE!

----
themnoria: I have a life. I can also get my point across without your flowery "ostentatious" language. I also understand simple grammar. (You're, not your.) I just think the whole idea of fanfiction is very trite.
----
Holdenwook: well themoria, that was possibly the most pathetic post i have ever seen, i have been away from the forum for a couple weeks, and i get back to your posts...just makes me sad. i dont know how to say this nicely, and i didnt want to be polite with you anyway, because you are not nice to any of us: stop being such a pompous ass and leave the forum if all you are going to do is this kind of crap.

[At this point as far as I can tell themnoria has been nothing but civil. O_o until . . .]
----
themnoria: Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha Ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

[except ten TIMES as much. >_< ]
----
Strange Angel: That is the most well thought out comeback I have ever witnessed. Bravo *claps* Also please stop using the word trite all the time, pick up a thesaurus or something christ. Oh yeah one last thing... Die in a fire.
----

Like I said-- small, but has a kick. :x

I dunno, I think it was the "Ha^1054" that won it for me. Nothing says "I win" like posting the same two letter word 5,000 times.

Man, cut & paste is this guy's friend.

I am strangely in love with the idea that it was all typed out by hand, taking pains that it looked like c&p'ed to deceive the beholder.

What? I would do that. In the mood, typing ha ha ha over and over and over can be a joyful exercise.

Done without the benefit of c&p

You're right, it can be a joyful exercise, although I had to stop at line 30 before my wrists started killing me.

And yes, I really did type out all those "Ha"s, although at one point, they started morphing into "Ah"s.

Your comment just made me realize that I am guilty of lying, or at least of making false claims. I did, after all, have to copy and paste the screencaps together to form one image. Whoops.

(I wanted to make them smaller but the hahahas started becoming nananas so... :( Ah well, it was an interesting few minutes nonetheless *g*)

Sadly, you can see his c&p 'seams' (notice where there are the random capitalized 'Ha's? That's where he starts over), because the idea of him diligently stroking it sitting there and taking the time to type out all those Has actually does it for me, too. ^^

pu·er·ile (pyr-l, pyrl, -l)
adj.
Belonging to childhood; juvenile.
Immature; childish.

Comes from the words pue (an alternate form of "poo", a word redolent of immature and juvenile acts and toilet humor (and, as an object, redolent of many...odors)) and rile. That is, to be puerile is to act in such a juvenile and immature fashion that you rile up everybody around you.

Not to be confused with making making a stink bomb, which also involves poo and riling up of people but is much more unavoidable.

TOTALLY.

Their questions drive me batshit. On the comprehensive reading shtuff, the correct re-writing of the sentence stuck further information about the topic in there - but it was all wrong! So of course I chose something else - and misssed the point.

Stabbity-styab-stab.

I 800'd my SATs simply because most thesauralicious words in the English language are, well... Latin.

Being Italian felt a leeetle like cheating. But not enough to get me to stop my sadistic pointing and laughing.

A) I have no idea what themnoria is complaining about in her first post. Surely there is more than one Neverending Story fanfic being written. I really don't know.

B) Wow, strangeangel/holdenwook, defensive much? And WHY WHY WHY would someone go to THAT MUCH effort to use as many useless, unnecessary $5 words as possible and then compare SOMEONE ELSE to The Simpson's Comic Book Guy? And do I need to point out s/he had an entire sequence from The Simpsons memorized for just such an occasion? The irony is boggling my mind.

Uh, that would be "for all intents and purposes..." If you're going to take the time to come up with all those fancy words, you really ought to be sure you're using them correctly. One mistake like that can cancel out all the fifty-cent verbiage.
