I've wanted to report the crazy on the Sleazor boards before. But not sure how old some of these people are, I hesitated. But no. Full grown women who have just lost their mind over Joaquin Phoenix. The Sleazor board grew out of the message boards at Joaquin-Phoenix.net. They started the new message boards because they were tired of their posts deleted and members banned because they were ...well, lunatics. Off on Sleazor they put lotrips tinhats to shame with their own game of I know something about him that you don't. Like this gem, where a member announces, OMG UR ALL MEEN, AND I'M LEAVING!!1! And then the board owner steps in with this bit of reassurance:
"Well here we go again; another poor little Joaquin story. See Danielle, I happen to think that what goes on inside that man's mind would surprise a lot of you girls who love to think how sweet he is. I have a totally different view of him and believe me I WISH I DIDN'T. I wish I could look at him and still see what you see. I did when I first started out on here, believe me. But things change, dear. Reality bites and often, sadly, it isn't what we want to see, so it's best you leave for rosier pastures.
An alternative way of looking at things Danielle; reading this board could be the best thing that ever happened to him. Why? Because it might well be one of the few times that the man ever hears anyone tell him what they really think about him. It might also make him THINK about what HE does and the way HE behaves. Sure, it's never nice to know that someone is angry with you, but what if you deserve it?
If I have any regret it's that I am unable to say to his face what I have said here on this board. If you ever get the chance you can tell him this because it applies to him just as much as anyone else:

No one forces him to read this; we aren't posting this stuff through his door. He is an adult and can make his own decisions. If he comes here then it's because he's obsessed with himself and if what he reads freaks out then it may well be because he thinks we are right. Think about it - why do people freak out when they read things about themsleves? Isn't it usually because they recognise it's TRUE?"</blockqote>
