Over on FFCosplay, Pixyteri posts her Tifa Lockheart costume.

Immediately, Taiki posts "why not just come out and stop being a bitch?"

There are also comments about the OPs weight. Yeah, because of *course* Tifa would be able to have boobs that size and still have a tiny waist...

And even if she were a real Fattyfat McFatterson, I don't see how would that be any of their business to criticize her. Sure, a good body's nice, but cosplay's supposed to be about the costume quality, above everything.

I quite agree. She's not at all fat. She could, however, in all likelihood severely beat the everloving shit out of whoever -called- her that, likely with not a whole lot of effort. There's muscle on that thar woman.

She's not at all unattractive, to my mind.

Newsflash people! Not every girl should look like she hasn't eaten for a week. Why are people so convinced that the ideal female form is skinny bordering on anorexic? What happened to plain old slender or fit? How about healthy girls? Girls with actual curves are much preferable to ones with angular ribs sticking out. Besides, those scrawny girls break way too easily... >:)

I'm not sure I understand the whole thing with Taiki.

I think the costume looks great. She's not fat - She's got that kicking ass and taking names later look. What you need for cosplay. Women are not built like anime women. We would tip over. Constantly.

I didn't get to read the comment the guy made, but comments like that tend to be made by immature guys with small penises. Making up for deficiencies.

I'm just sayin'.

I REALLY don't see what they're complaining about - she's a Tifa cosplayer with boobs that are big enough for canon. Are they really saying that that's NOT secretly their dream to find someone to cosplay the luscious Miss Lockheart who really does have boobs the size of her head?

Because I know that a good deal of my male friends have admitted to going to cons with us sheerly to see if they can find chicks with breasts the size of the characters they cosplay. (I'm in luck, however - I only cosplay men and flat chicks like Integra. xDDD)

And for christsake, the woman is NOT that fat! >=( If these people think she's a bad cosplay, then they need to meet the 300-pound man cosplaying Sailor Mars.

the only reason why I have any kind of issue with this person is that she doesn't pick costumes that flatter her. or plans out how it'll look on her.

i aggree..tiny twigs that could break in half and complain about being fat at size 0. and bitch and whine because they thing they're fat are annoying girls with curves and shape are by far sexyer than those kinds.

but the same goes with wearing normal cloths. pick things that flatter your body. making something a few inches longer aint gonna hurt. infact, i think it would shut all those ppl complaning about how fat she is up... cuz it would detact away from her shape (which is not shaped like tifa).

an yes...... body type does matter to a extent! why?? because nobody looks exactly like an anime character..... so you have to fix up costumes so they look flattering and nice on a body that's not shaped like an anime or game character.

ive only been cosplaying for a year... but i know when i see a flattering costume and when i don't. i also have some kind of idea on how to do it right... im not a twig either..... but i'm not quite her size..... BUT STILL!

I just want to make a few quick points.

2) Until I said it explicitly, I have never before stated that she was fat, just that she wasn't wearing costumes that complemented her body. At the point where I just called her a fat bitch(and a stupid one too, since she doesn't seem smart enough to navigate JournalFen to create herself a JF account. Then again I botched the entire request password system... I do'nt mind being the pot calling the kettle black as long as we all understand that yees, the kettle is fucking black.) because I felt like if everyone assumed I was calling her fat, I might as well be accused of actually saying it.

3) I keep hearing you guys compared to the SA Goons, except they're far smarter and understand the concept of context.
