Mini "24" wank
First-time wanker -- please be kind!
So the Golden Globe nominations are out, and Kiefer Sutherland has not been nominated for his role on "24."
Some fans on the Fox 24 board gnash their teeth, woe! He wuz robbed! How can they overlook the bestest thing on television EVA?! Others venture the opinion that perhaps the competition deserved the nominations more. They encourage Sutherland supporters to check out other shows before they jump to conclusions.
The reaction? How dare anyone come to the 24 board and offer anything but unmitigated praise!
A poster called yank111ees froths:
Either way, stating that other shows and actors are better and more deserving of nominations and awards is just going to piss them off. It's not going to get people to say "Oh, okay. I see your point. 24 isn't the best. I'll stop worshipping it." Do you not see that? All your doing here is pissing people off and starting arguments. So please just stop already. No one's just going to all of a sudden agree with you.
If you think shows are better than 24 then whatever, just state those opinions on THOSE show's forums. There's no reason to do it here, unless you feel like angering people.

You're opinion but one not shared by the nomination committee. Sad that you can't be the slightest bit critical wiuhtout being judged an anti-fan. Right along the same lines of Americans who don't support the war in Iraq as being unpatriotic.

Sorry, I feel there are other actors in television and shows worth receiving merit. That's a crime because one of those shows isn't 24? Since when did you become the super-fan? If you can't recognize that other actors on OTHER SHOWS (there's that pesky reality again) deserve some credit and recognition, then I don't care what you have to say.
Then again I'm just a pathetic anti-fan, a 24-basher, a Bauer-has-been who just wants to start sh!t. I'm on this forum 'cuz I love this show and I care about it, not the other way around.
That's right, folks. Critics of 24 are now the equivalent to anti-war protesters. Cells at Guantanamo are being readied at this very moment.
