Didn't see this one coming, but wow...
The Yugioh fandom is not exempt from wank. There have been pairing factions, ship wars, character bashing, het vs. yaoi and yuri, you name it. However, the LJ mods of Yugioh (YGO) based groups are pretty professional individuals. They usually step into flame wars with clear heads to layeth the smackdown, then disappear quietly into the ether of fandom once more.

Or so I thought. Meet dj_moves2001, the creator of a small Seto/Jou yaoi group called jou_loves_kaiba.
It's been around for a little over a year on LJ and things seemed to be all buddy-buddy between her and the mod she appointed, darkmus. The people who joined were very happy with the group.

Suddenly, without warning, dj_moves2001 disappeared for months on end and darkmus stepped up as 'The Mod' in her place. The regulars wondered at first if dj had gone on hiatus, then newbies came into the comm, boyporn was shared, and we forget about her for shiny new things.

Apparently, that pisses her off because she has now launched a tirade about it being 'taken from her' here: http://www.livejournal.com/community/jou_loves_kaiba/158146.html. It's complete with ZOMG!I LEAVE INTARNETS U SUX, bad grammar, and shitty uncut bitmap graphics as a going away present. Isn't there a law about breaking the same rules you set up in the first place?

If not, why spoil such a beautifully wanky thing?

Probably, and that's where the fun will begin! dj will start backpeddling like there's no tomorrow and weep for us to give her a second chance.

I don't know if you remember it, but she did the same exact thing when other people were making S/J comms and when no one was posting at one point. I'd pity her, but honestly? She's such an attention whore that I don't. I wouldn't miss her if she was gone.

The funniest part of all is that there are so many n00bs patting her back and telling her what bad people 'they' are for stealing her comm. WTF were we supposed to do, shut down til she came back when we didn't even know she'd left in the first place?

	I didn't even notice her go missing. -.- Pity. True that I've sort of drifted out of the fandom to some degree but I still got the community friended. Basically, she can't control the fans, so she blows up, people try to smooth things over (aka kiss her ass), and then it's quiet again. The worst part of it is that the more mindless n00bs fawn over her when they have no clue what a shit-stirrer she is.

It's not my absolute favorite YGO pairing but at the same time, I think it's cute and I'll definitely read fics and such if I come across them.

And it's funny, last night I was digging through the archives looking for YGO wank to see how the fandom was to get a feel as to what I was in for (I came from the Weiß fandom, and while it's not FMA, LOTR or HP, we have our moments) and lo and behold! This was on my friends page when I woke up.

It was like a dream come true. Or something. ^^
