Ponies wank the hardest, you know.
I'd put this in i_wank, but I haven't signed up.

Long story short, I went to Target today to get exclusive ponies. And I saw a woman, snatching bunches of the ponies off the shelves and getting mad at me for getting two of them for myself. I rant about this on the my_little_pony community, whereupon I get people on my ass because "she could be buying them for others!" And baby wank ensues, mostly from trixi_vixen. EDIT: And me. (And yes, I called the woman a fat moo, because only fat moos follow me around waiting for me to put back my toys.)

I will never understand how people can get so wound up over toys. Yeah, I get that collections can be important to people, but still. They are TOYS. If my mom knew I was ripping stuff out of other people's arms in order to increase my collection, she'd burn the entire thing. Erm, if I was still a kid.

Also, am I the only one who gets annoyed when people play the "It's a rant, thereforfe I can be is mouthfrothy and ridiculous as I want and you aren't allowed to criticize" card?

In any case, here's the situation as I see it: Woman clearing the shelves = rude. OP who stole the ponies from her arms = rude asshat.

I cannot stand the people who have to be rude greedy twits like that about "collectible" toys. I can understand things like waiting for stores to open and standing in long lines, when you really want something like that, but being a jerk to other people over it is not cool.
I went to Limited Too *shudder* to see if I could get a limited edition Desert Aisha plushie for my girlfriend (yeah, Neopets, heh). When I went in, there was a lady holding two and apparently getting angry at the cashier. She left, I asked politely if a little disappointedly if those were the last ones, the cashier said no, got me one, I got my money out...and the pissy woman from before ran back into the store and grabbed the plushie away from me, and proceeded to bitch out the cashier again. After I've stared at her in shock for a bit, she hands it back and halfheartedly, quickly apologizes, then goes back to bitching. Apparently they wouldn't let her get more than two, because there were so few. When she left, I apologized to the cashier for setting off the batshit woman, although I had no idea that was gonna happen.
That is NOT okay behavior for kids even, let alone ADULTS.

If I were buying things and someone "snatched them from my grasp", no matter how many I'd taken, that person would be the recipient of a firm foot to the shin or knee, whichever was most convenient. Just because she was being rude doesn't mean you've the right to act like a complete ass - and I don't see what her weight has to do with it. Speaking for at least one "fat moo", I'd have kicked you so hard you'd have bruises for a week.

Sounds like a problem that could have been resolved easily by asking the lady if, since she had all of them, you might have one or two. And if she won't there's always the manager. I'm sure there's a rule about taking every single item off the shelves and not letting other customers have any.
