Hey, this is the first time I've read what a 'furry' actually is! I thought it was just those pervs people who dig looking at funky x-rated anime of cartoon animals getting it on. Huh.

I wish furries could just admit to being perverted more. I am a furry and a total sexual deviant. I fully accept that I am not the norm. I wish more furs could just get over themselves and accept it.

And he says Rush gives furries a bad name? The furry community doesn't help itself out much. Sure, not all furries are perverts. But it an unwritten rule of the media that when dealing with subcultures, they must pick those guaranteed to make the rest look crazy/stupid/what have you. That is why we get media shows with the furverts, the anime obsessees, the neocons, the rednecks who give other rednecks a bad name, and it goes on and on.

I just like how we have the Royal High Experts on Genetics over there. "Being LGBT is genetic, being furry is not!" Oh, yeah? Even if it is a kink and not an orientation, how does that rule out the possibility that sexual furries are internally wired to be turned on by anthropomorphic animals?

I bet it'd be amusing. The first couple of times. I do feel sorry for furries, because they're can even MENTION it without being jumped on by someone, even when it's got nothing to do with the discussion.

Furries are like Clowns in my book, they scare the shit outta me. I don't hate them but I just...don't want to look at them if I can help it. :(

This reminds me of the wank a few months ago in a Libertarian forum about supporting humans fucking animals. Try using your well thought out furry argument in a political debate and see how far it gets you.

I doubt if John Kerry had come out and said "I'm a liberal and a furry!" he would have won. :\
