FMA Wank! Again.
This time over fanlistings.

Over at the TAFL boards there's some hullabaloo over the matter of Roy Mustang's fanlisting, which apparently has not been updated since August. The rule is that a fanlisting must be updated every two months, but the owner apparently circumvented this issue by updating the main page without touching the fanlist itself.

Needless to say, this was not exactly met with cheers, especially from Estefania (haibara-kun), who is apparently a massive Roy fan and would like the opportunity to run the fanlisting herself. Most people agree that it's pretty dirty to be managing a fanlisting in this manner.

Except Mana, who thinks they should just leave the owner alone and compares the other members of the board to vultures. (previously, Mana has earned fame with her dislike of Firefox and more recently, she weighed in on whether people should have to update)

Several members of the board once again disagree with Mana's assessment of the situation, and finally one of the board moderators gives Mana a nice dose of smackdown, and Mella tries to inject some sense into the situation.

Fun for the whole family.

The Malice Mizer fanatic part of me won't let me read this wank with a straight face. So now I read the name "Mana" and think of my favorite crossdressing Japanese musician (there are more of them than you might think...). Or an old RPG, I suppose, but it's much more entertaining if you read Mana's posts and picture a goth transvestite.

I switched over a couple of months ago. I really like not having popups anymore. That's actually why I switched, my computer crashed because of all the spyware from ONE LINK someone sent me. Good luck on your search for the perfect browser or congratulations if you think you found it

Yeah, I thought I was happy with IE and a separate pop-up blocker? But then I discovered that Firefox does everything that the pop-up blocker did, and it doesn't stop the extra windows I *want* to open. Add that to tabbed browsing, and I've never looked back.

And if something doesn't show right in Firefox? Well, that's what rightclick -> View This Page In IE is for. (Telly + Firefox + Extensions = OT3!!!)

Warning: this has absolutely nothing to do with the wank, and is actually me being wanky. AWESOME.

I was so excited when someone on the forum, murasaki, had a Tennimon icon. Then I went to her journal and it turns out that she's only watched the few episodes about the gay angels instead of actually watching the series. And this makes me sad, because it's a good series and to discount the rest on account of the lack of gay flirting just makes me want to smack her good.

So I would like to burst her bubble by saying: HAHA THEY CAN'T HAVE SEX BECAUSE RAPHAEL CAN'T TOUCH NO ONE. like literally, he does not exist inthe physical realm, and probably doesn't have a penis. Hahaha.

This is, of course, a valid point, until Mikael becomes an angel himself. Then it doesn't really matter that Raphael doesn't exist in the physical realm, because neither does Mikael.

Besides, I have it on good authority that Murasaki watched Tennimon for the seiyuu. Because Morikubo is a god.

Personally, I spent most of the series wanted to strangle Noelle, because she annoyed the fuck out of me, but hey! To each his own.

What's a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is a list of fans of a particular subject of person (or in my case two-dimensional gay Japanese boys)

Pfft. I'll update my fanlisting every however-many-months once the admins stop changing URLs and expect us to psychically know, start answering our emails with something a bit better than "I'll look into it and let you know in a year or two, and honour each other's agreed-to fanlistings instead of giving them away to others without cause.
