Here's one for the "Bitch, are you for real" File.
GAFF takes on... (wait for it, wait for it,) the subculture of incest.
At first it's merely disturbing as a few regs say, "incest, meh, as long as they're both adults it's okay." Whatever, but, umm, eww. Then things heat up after someone posts a link to incestboard.com. It ends up that a regular poster from the incest boards (sorry, just typing that kind of gives me a shudder...in the bad way,) who calls herself "Puppy" says, Before you all accuse me of being a dirty old perv or the such like, I'll have you know that I'm actually a fairly young woman of 22 who is having a wonderful relationship with her dad for the last three years.
And all hell breaks loose.
At first, GAFFers do a little bit of light snarking. Then "Puppy" comes back on and, in a very long and disturbing post, waxes rhapsodic about her love affair with her father. Some of us lurkers are thinking, "very convincing troll," but this turns out not to be. In the next few posts (sorry, I don't know how to link to specific posts when the user is not signed in,) "Puppy" comes out with: I'm asking for another incest couple to join me and dad so that the four of us can live together and raise the children together. There are many advantages of this:
1. There is more financial income for a family where there are four adults than two.
2. There is more support for the children, they will have four adults to go to for help and advice when they need it, not just the traditional two.
3. There would be so much more love in such a household.
4. The children would grow up knowing that inbreeding is not okay, but incest is as long as contraception is always used.
5. The children would grow up to be as open minded as their parents.
That's right, kids. If you are not fucking your mom and dad, you are a hater.
The general responses to this from GAFFers? "Wow, how weird! Thanks for sharing this lifestyle and for being so nice!" (I'm sorry, I have to take a moment to tell you all that my eyeballs are leaping out of my skull as I read those reactions.)
Page two brings wank of the-- "your practice is disgusting!" "Hey, don't call her disgusting!" "I didn't, I said her practice was disgusting, and furthermore, I'm going to post dictionary definitions of 'disgust'!" --variety. Then GAFF infighting happens.
Page three gives us PotterWank (my god, it's everywhere!) right fromt eh start, wherein "PuppyShipPaladin" (not to be confused with "Puppy") says that she dislikes Weasleycest because of the OOC-ness, but is OK with the incest of it all, and asks Puppy to rec her some good Weasleycest fic. Uh huh.
More infighting. "Puppy" joins the boards. Comes out with, "My Mom was a controlling bitch, wouldn't any man with a wife like that turn to his daughter for sex? Yes, of course he would." And even more, "Incest is the right way, much more loving and open-minded. 'Norms' are creepy and will hurt you." And the kicker: "If I got married, it would be to another person who liked incest, and if I had a son, yes, I would fuck my son, too, because it's the loving thing to do."
Ahhhh, on page four someone does a bit of googling and digs up some older posts of Puppy's. There are questions of who this person really is, why she lied about how old she was when her dad "fell in love" with her and began touching her, (the answer is, she was fifteen,) and an anonymouse eeeeeven goes so far as to hint that "Puppy" might be a GAFF reg:
HINT: Google "just-another-sick-puppy" and find the site describing her "the worst creation on the planet" then email the webmaster and ask if he knew "Puppy" and if it is the same "Hellfire" that also was on GAFF.
PS: I'm not trying to start a flamewar, just seems something fishy about this thread since "Puppy" came along.
PPS: Hellfire I apologise if I am completely wrong but the whole situation just seems off somehow.
