Okay, so Josh Groban's hit song is called You Raise Me Up. What's the obvious joke here, people? Yep, that's the one. But don't crack it in front of some of the more serious fans... somebody did, and now Friends of Josh Groban is boiling over again! And as usual, the denizens are masters of hyperbole.

The thread starts here:

GrobanCrazy: That one lady who got all the plastic surgery and was on Oprah was talking to Kanye West and she was like, "So you know Josh Groban, the one who's song YRMU was nominated for a Grammy? and so then she says something like, "So do you think the songs talking about you know what raising up?" Thankfully kayne didn't answer and just kinda looked at her weird. But that is so disrespectful to him, why do they do that? I hate people who are so imature like that!

dishgirl1: I heard that too, and I was disgusted. She tries to be soooo funny, but yet is disrespectful. I am suprised they let her do this. she got in trouble last time for saying something smart about Dakota Fanning. Anyway, they guy she was talking to said he had never heard the song, and that was pitiful too! I know I am not watching now. The green carpet interviews have made me sick to my stomach.

This one's my favourite. He's a singer, lady, not the freakin' president.

Belinda: I heard it too...but I thought Kanye West was so full of himself...he said that he never heard of him or the song...as if Josh wasn't important

MyCutieJosh: Well, I have no idea who this lady person is, but a comment like that is not only very inappropriate, but it is also quite immature and just goes to show what a sick-minded pervert she is.

If it takes a sick-minded pervert to make that joke, I must know an awful lot of sick-minded perverts. Somebody should lock us all up for the sake of the children.

eblovesjosh: Oh, KATHY!!! That fool only opens her mouth to change feet. Most of them are just dumb, and ask the same questions over and over, but she kicks stupidity up a notch.

Don't worry, possums! We're all way better than her anyway!

PaulaCan: I believe you are talking about Kathy Griffith or Griffin or something like that. She use to be on Suddenly Susan with Brooke Shields. At the last awards show she commented "Dakota" couldn't be there because she was just admitted into rehab for drugs and alcohol abuse........ now this???? It's all for shock value, of course, and it's a shame that people endorse this!

AshG822: I heard it and quote frankly, I think that was soo wrong. Kanye looked very confused and when he said he didnt know who Josh was, I was screaming because who doesnt know who Josh is. That just shows how much Kanye West is in love with himself....IMO

Screaming?!

They're also masters of the giant rainbow-coloured signature block, but I'm afraid I'm too lazy to copy all those out. And you'll have to picture the above thread interspersed with a random peppering of short replies like: 'terrible!' and 'OMJ' and 'I'm so glad I missed that'.
