Daily Show RPS Wank!
Ah yes, the age-old RPS debate, with a Daily Show flavour!

With the recent spotlight on bloggers, someone posts to thedailyshow about a blog linking and posting excerpts from tds_rps (Daily Show RPS).

First bit of wank starts with accusations of a witch-hunt against fellow Daily Show fans! But disaster is averted with a few well-placed apologies and clarifications.

The real fun doesn't start until godfrei asks: ...am I reading this right? Is there really a homoerotic Daily Show fanfic community?

Jesus Christ those people are fucked up.

And this starts off a nice round of insults hurled towards RPS writers, including such gems as: That has to be one of the lowest forms of creativity possible, if it even meets the minimum qualifications...

And what may possibly be the most offensive statement to RPS writers: A comparison of RPS to Gigli.

And halfway through the conversation, godfrei suddenly realizes something: Holy crap, you're girls?!?!. Be sure to click even if it's only for the lovely picture of Stephen Colbert posted in the middle of the thread in response to the question: ...aren't the guys required to be hot as well for that to work?

ETA 2: More splooge flies forth from this thread: All I'm getting from this is that not only do you write creepy and pathetic gay erotica, but you also have an army of equally creepy and pathetic amateur erotica authors marching behind you. I'm not sure how comfortable that is supposed to make you feel.
