	The series (both anime and manga) are pretty good. It deals mostly with plot and almost no romance (wich explains why the fangirl go SEE? HE LOOKED AT HER FOR 2 SECONDS; SO HE MUST LIKE HER!). The fandom is... mostly idiotic. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

You know, I got to thinking about this last night. I've been watching the series via fansubs (almost done with it, in fact), and it's a fascinating world.

But honestly, the idea of EdxRoy just really gives me the creeps. The age difference alone, and the fact that Ed's just on the edge of "age of consent"... I mean, there's just no way around the NAMBLA-esque of the situation.

Then I realized I was making the mistake of being logical about it. Logic and common sense does not enter into "teh_hot_sex/OTP" fanfic/pairing worship most of the time. I mean, if it did, the fact that there is someone who is very much in love with Roy standing right by his side the entire time (and who is a damned good marksman) might also enter into it.

And then, I swear to God, the words came out of my mouth: "Not to worry. If he tries anything, Hawkeye will kill him."

I swear, those LotR diaries have done me in...

No joke. You'd think with the new Constantine movie there'd be some wank somewhere, but it's all just some grumbling here and there over Keanu Reeves.

Maybe if Keanu brings the fangirls over . . .
But then there wasn't a lof of slash potential from the movie so maybe they won't come. I racked my brains and the best I can think of is John/Lucifer (or was it the Devil or Satan) but Lucifer wasn't a cute hot little bishie like he is an Angel Sanctuary so that's probably a no go for the fangirls teeny boopers =P

And Ireally shouldn't talk. I followed Books of Magic/Fairy/ Life During Wartime, but now, I'll follow Hellblazer too cause of the movie so I guess the movie brought at least one Fan who is a girl. *L*

I fail to see how a scan is "cheapening" the experience. It's not like you get the satisfaction of holding it in your hand... It's just a scan, bits and pixels and data. Must... control... fist... of death...
