Just in case you didn't get tired of trying to define rape, someone comes onto the World of Warcraft LJ comm and says something that pretty much read like "omg raped by evil beast in game!!1!!" Not being a WoW person, I have no idea what the person is talking about. However, it appears not to matter.
Someone isn't amused. It doesn't even make it one post before they start wanking. Dictionary definitions are thrown out. People are told to lighten up. Godwin is invoked, though it's used by someone referring to themselves as a "word Nazi," which is a new one to me. Then Godwin is invoked again when she(?) suggests that using raped is sort of like saying "killed faster than a Jew in Nazi Germany."
Someone confuses sexual harassment and sexual assault. Giant words are thrown around.
