I'm not a racist or anything, but are, like, black people taking over Wicked? Oh, and can you all please give me information so I can do a school report on it, too? kthnxbai!!!

"I'm not a racist or anything, but..." is the same thing my mum used to say to me before launching into a diatribe about why people shouldn't marry out of their own race... I think these people are getting confused by what the word "not" means.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Wicked (at least partially) about not judging people by their skin color? I mean, I only read the book; I haven't seen the musical yet. Ohhhh wait, the whole, "not" issue again.

It all makes sense now!
