Remember Wildefyre? The poor divorced woman who used her waaaangsty life to avoid any kind of c&c about her VERY BAD FAKE fics?.

Well... This is the backlash of the latest wank she got into.


02/18/05 - This is notice that I will be removing this site sometime within the next month or so. I have had it with backstabbers and jerks who need to get off on hurting other people. If I post any more stories, they will be exclusive to my LJ and to the Mailing List I help run. I can no longer stay in a place that has given birth to such mean and spiteful people as I have encountered over the past year or so. Thank you all for your support and for visiting, but it's time to say goodbye.

02/08/05 - It is with great sadness that I write this but as of today, "Disgraced" has been taken down and will no longer be updated. This decision was made after a series of events made me realize that I had no other option. Please forgive me and try to understand that this was the hardest thing I have ever done.

With that said, I feel that I have come to an end as far as writing and maintaining this website goes. I will leave it up for you all for now, but I can no longer find the strength to fight against people who have chosen to make my life a living hell. Goodbye, one and all.....

Oh hell. I knew a girl just like this on a MB. If you ever told her off, she'd throw a tantrum like a spoilt toddler. She'd rant at length on how I hurt her feelings, that I was mean horrible person, that she had some cold and I should feel terrible for making someone with a cold cry.

I assumed she was 13 or something.

Who was it who said on the previous wank that criticizing a FAKE fanfic for having crappy plot/characterization/dialogue etc. is like criticizing a Star Trek fic for having transporters?

....I picked up a FAKE manga out of curiosity in the bookstore the other day. Couldn't make it past the first page without cracking up (it was the part where one guy says to the platinum blonde, "Your eyes are pitch-black. Are you part Japanese?")

I'm going to go ahead and assume that she's not going to stop writing anything. Mostly because this follows her usual pattern of "omg I'M QUITTING FER REEL!!!!" but giving herself a waiting period so that she can get a flood of "OMG DUN LEEV!!!! WE LUV U!!" from her fans. And, lo and behold, it's already happening in her Guestbook.

So, yeah. There'll probably be another post sometime soon saying that she's not quitting after all and here's the next chapter of Generic FAKE Fic #446.

I'm all for a good bitching, really I am. I've done it myself many a time over the people that annoy the fuck out of me, but there is a line, and there is a limit.

So WF writes crappy fics in your opinion, BITCH ABOUT HER FICS. No one, in ANY world has the right to bring children into an argument, ESPECIALLY a fandom argument.

I got into the FAKE fandom as an escape from my 'real' one. I spent five years in the HP (that would be Harry Potter) world watching little idiots who thought they were adults start wars and destroy the 'community' feel of the fandom. I saw online friends turn into RL stalkers, I saw lawsuits between fandom members and learned more about internet harrassment laws then I really wanted to. It was a mess.

And now I come to find that FAKE isn't all that fun and exciting. And it's not the books, it's the people contained within. The bitterness and backstabbing and god knows what else that I'm turning a blind eye to is disguting me. Could I do another five years in a fandom that tries to kill itself? No.

Read the fics, don't read the fics, that's your fucking choice. Hell I honestly can't fault you for wanking about her, but be respectful to the fact she is a human being. She has a life, she has her faults. Just. Like. You. You aren't perfect, neither am I. Imagine how you'd feel if we turned on you and wrote the same things. It would hurt. And it will hurt because someday someone will, and that's not a threat, it's reality. Feed the beast and it will eventually consume you.

Oh, and before you 'wank' ME, I've heard it all. I know my writings suck, I know I'm a stuck up snobby bitch. You can say every little thing your heart desires because until you threaten to kill me, you haven't topped the HP fandom. Have a nice day.
