[Edit: Oh yes, and the troll is actually responding to most of the comments. So.. I guess it's a troll that talks back, hence it's not really a troll.]

I desperately needed a giggle and got it when I saw that post. It's obviously being puppeted by someone who knows the ins and outs of proper grammar and this is their first foray into trolling. Or so I assume.

I say this because there's a few times he/she/it slips up and types semi-decently. I can almost imagine the typest giggling his/her/its head off while responding to people.

I think that's what made me laugh more than anything.

Ten Sickles says that troll just saw the stir the other fanficrants troll created (the one who said that GAY PPL IZ TEH EVOL!!!11 while defending some HP BNF) and wanted a piece of the action.

I mean, that troll drew something like 100 comments in a very short time, even though it was obviously a troll. No one can resist an amusing troll. Someone suggested it was Tomakobriefs, but I don't think TB could be this funny if s/he/it tried.

(casual lurker who hasn't bothered to get an account yet, ahoy!) Gee, in my day, a "troll" was someone who made a genuine attempt to sound like like were serious about, say, hating Michael Bolton on "rec.music.bolton.is.my.sex.daddy." But look at antifanficrants's bio:

When does it stop being a troll, and become a troll-parody? I'm genuinely a bit curious. Eh, mayhaps I'm just old-fashioned.

Oh, and incidentally, it's nice to see someone else who's interested in "you're all gay." I was started to feel so lonely. ;_; (And its interests include wank, "gay," and trolling too? Why do people look at troll posts like this and actually post responses? I must be the only one ith no real urge to poke trolls. I'm always of the mindset that if I ignore these posts, their attempts at attention will fall flat and they'll give up.

Still think I'll go take a peek in there though.

Heh. I was getting bored with it, until I found this exchange. Now I'm amused all over again. (Hey, it's a slow Saturday! And I'm trying not to clean house!)

Yes, the truly amusing stuff comes from the commenters who just don't get it. Even better are a couple who seemed to get it after their initial posts and then comment copiously to cover their tracks. *points and laughs*
