I've been watching this for a while, and it went all 'splodey. Unfortunately, it wasn't big enough (I thought) for a full on Fandom Wank post. Plus I kinda sorta participated.

So, Christy Corr has a story called Hopelessly Addicted (sequel to Reason). Prongs'LilyFlower has a story up, Why Must Everything Good Go Wrong that is a horribly rewritten Hopelessly Addicted fanfic. (No, seriously. Go read it. Giggle.)

A couple people, including Christy herself (in a very nice review, IMO) call her on it in the reviews.

The author goes BOOM.

Anony Mouse: I don’t know who the heck you are, but I AM NOT A PLAGERIST! Sorry but I forgot the disclaimer because at mugglenet you don’t need one… if I get another nasty comment from you about that, I will hunt you down. I think of you as a coward for insulting and accusing me of something I’m not but I just forgot about and you don’t even have enough courage to tell me who you are! Sorry, but you don’t have to read my stuff and I would appreciate it if you didn’t. You may accuse me again of something really stupid. Sorry, but I know I didn’t copy ANYTHING FROM ANYBODIES STUFF! Okay, so I took the “Head Auror and Strategist” idea from another fic by Christy Corr, but I didn’t copy anything… so it’ll really help if you tell me what I copied… thanks!

The next chapter is nothing but author notes. WANGSTY author notes. (Note: If this really happened, she has my sympathy, but... yeah right.)

Author’s note:

I’m taking down this story. I don’t have time anymore and I am not emotionally stable at the moment to be doing this. In case you’re a bastard and feel like irking me, then here are my reasons:

1. I just had six people die in my family. All on the same day, and we don’t know who did it. The cops just found them dead. They think they were poisoned, but I’m not sure.

They weren’t physically harmed.

2. My beta has not been e-mailing my stuff and I recently found out she died. Turns out she had cancer but never bothered to tell me. She also happened to be my best friend. She moved to Philadelphia so I don’t see her, for those who may be asking…

3. I just got back from my vacation on Copacabana beach in Brazil, (very nice!), and I just found out I’m going to be living in England for the remainder of 12th grade. I am English but two of the six people happened to be my parents who were currently living in America for their jobs with the British Intelligence… don’t ask and I won’t have to kill you.

4. I am awaiting my acceptance letter from Oxford which is really stressful because my future depends on it.

5. Something REALLY bad happened to me on my vacation and I am now mentally scared. Sorry, but it’s really hard to go into depth without me crying. (I’m already crying.)

6. I can’t stop crying. I’m depressed. It’s just not fair. I’m really sorry but somehow my life is turning out to be horrible. Oh yea, did I mention I’ve gone back to cutting? I don’t know why I’m telling everyone but I need to get it off my chest.

7. I am under too much pressure from my family. Well, the ones who are still alive…

8. I found out I just lost my unborn cousin.

Sad, isn’t it? I can’t stop crying, I eat close to nothing, I’m mentally and physically un-stable, and my life has gone to hell in a hand basket. Sorry to those reviewers I disappointed. Oh, and Christy Corr? I’m going into Law also… I’m going to show those cheap American bastards whose boss. Sorry, but at the moment, I wish America would blow up. No offence. But that’s just how I feel.

Maybe I’ll start writing another fic, but right now, I don’t give Pettigrew’s ass about anything. Excuse my language but I feel like shit. And yes, PROZAC doesn’t WORK! I have nothing to live for, and you guys agree. My writing stinks and I have no ambition in life. I should take down this fic because it stinks. I hate everything I write and I congradulate the people who thought this story was good; you guys are complete retards. People should start saying the truth. But, thats my opinion. No offence to people that like my work, but what the HELL are you smoking or drinking when you read this? Sorry, but Anony Mouse is right. Sorry to snap at you. I've been going through hell... and apparently the devil wants me to stay.

To everyone who reviewed, even Anony Mouse, thanks guys. I really appreciate it. Sorry I never put up disclaimers… Do I have to put one on this too? Might as well…

reviewer: lol,cried during the proposal?..i didn't know writers cried over their own stories..hehe..but then again.i ain't no writer,so how the hell should i know?and i think ur "dieing" is actually spelt as "dying"thats all...thx for reading my boring review,hv a nice day,.ciao
