Survivor downloaded eps wank!
Been wondering for a while why there is so little reality TV wank, and now we get it twice in one night. :) This one features oft-wanked [info]finestdrops who claimed he reported illegal postings of Survivor to CBS attorneys. [info]mage67, who frequently posts eps for download (and *requires* a thanks, which is a bit...odd...) takes issue with this. Calls go out to ban finestdrops, and modsweigh in.

Bonuses: more wank from [info]finestdrops, regarding tonight's ep (WARNING: spoilers!) and the community he made for hatin' on tattooed contestant Angie.

Trollish, but kinda nice seeing my reality fandom finally making with the spooge. :)

Clearly I don't need law school; anyone can get on the internet and be an internet lawyer! And spew out stuff that sounds vaguely like laws to convince people that you are, in fact, a lawyer.

Unless he really is a lawyer, but I'm really, really not seeing that.

And requiring thanks for episodes _is_ kind of weird, though I suppose it's like requiring comments for when someone takes an icon.

Myself, I get flustered when people thank me for anything more than once.

I'm still wondering why downloading episodes of TV shows is any different from taping them on your VCR--which I sincerely hope is not illegal, because if so I've been a very bad girl.

I think it's illegal distribution. The TV station got the rights to broadcast the show, but not the website. I guess it's like "Don't distribute w/out permission".
