J-Rock Wank!
Ohhhh, how did I miss this one so far? Ahh, friends friends page, how great you are for a good wank!

Apparently, over at the Dir en Grey community, someone got sick of all the fangirls taking over the community! Fangirls? In a fandom centered around hot, Asian men in rock bands?! Why, I never! The nerve of those girls, posting "Hi, my name is -" posts and *math**problems* and Got Milk ads involving those J-Rockers! It's positively *degrading* to those poor, noble men! {/sarcasm}

At any rate, here's Fucker-chan's farewell post, in which she tells the whole community how much they suck for having fangirls in it. Some agree. Some don't. Some take personal offense, because every single instance of community 'sucking' that Fucker-chan points out goes back to one poster. *other than the 'Hi, my name is -' posts, which tons of people do* Sounds like a vendetta to me!

Crotch-claiming, cat-fighting, and finger-pointing ensue. Fun to be had by all. ^_^

ETA => Ohhh, also found this little beauty of a post, in which deg_obsessed apparently bitched about fangirls, got his ass smacked back down, and then had to edit his post. ^^ The comments are teh funneh! Snarkiness enough to go around!

	I'm only still at the OP, and this jumps out at me: I used to like keeping up with this community to learn more about the band and releases, and all I get are a bunch of girls acting like they're NSync. But to ask why they exist is, in itself, Zen-like! Does anyone truly exist? And if so, would they cease to exist if fangirls ceased to spend large amounts of cash on them? Or would they just take on another form? Or is it possible to break the never-ending cycle of existing and move onto a higher plane.... like... movie-stardom, or something?

I think I'll go contemplate my naval, now.

Reading that makes me wish I had the first clue how to go about pulling off a prank on them. Retool a bunch of NSYNC and Backstreet Boys songs to make them more J-Rockish, and create some fake new hot up-n-comin' artist and get these girls all interested...

...then point them toward the BSB and NSYNC.

Of course, the result might turn out to be rather like this "Schlock Mercenary" storyline. ::snerks::
