When wanked, the best thing to do is...bring in a friend?!?!?
A day or so ago, we were all treated to a wank wherein someone decides to whine about her scriptfics being deleted off The Pit in fanficrants at LJ

Today, a friend of said "victim" arrives to troll the community with more whining. It's only been up for two hours and already has upwards of 50 comments...

This is a funny one, this one. Seems perfectly prepared to be civil and friendly to everyone except [info]ladybirdsleeps, but I'm not sure why she gets all the negativity.

I do think there's a language barrier thing going on here, and I think I confused her meaning more than once before I started asking for clarification. On the other hand... I can't help but feel sorry for [info]clairechan.

See, the sad part is that she seems perfectly reasonable in the first post, and I can sympathise with her in that one. But the wanky post? *yawn* it's the same old boring arguments over and over, right down to the Shakespeare comment. Why can't people just *deal* with the fact that the Pit's horribly imperfect and get on with their lives?

Besides, there was this big BAD SIGN, in RED writing on the ff.net homepage saying everyone had until a certain time to remove their scriptfics removed. The same goes for the NC-17 rated fics. Hence why I've no sympathy for the people who whine how their precious fics got bahleeted, because, honestly, the rules weren't there when they first signed up. *rolls eyes*

Maybe I'm just crazy, but the friend seems to have a good point. I mean, the Pit was having a severely stupid moment when it forbade script format fics. There're some really good script format fics. The Pit is entitled to to whatever it wants, but everyone else is entitled to point it out when it's being stupid.

And, is it just me, or do people usually say, "Yeah, what's wrong with them?" when people complain about all of the NC-17 fics being kicked out?
