Arteest Wank
Once again, kiddies, I bring wank from the land that is 4chan.org (not worksafe, though so far this particular wank is).

Another arteest wank, in which said-artist asks for a critique. When people speak up, offering opinions or thoughts and whatnot, their response to this Masterpiece of All That is Art is less than enthusiastic. Artist begins to wank, with the usual "U DUN UNDERSTAND MY WORK U UNCULTURED BUFFONS" and "MI PEICE HAS INNUR BEUTY!!!!", as well as the typical blaming-of-cameras and general preaching about being close-minded.

Short, but sadly amusing in its cute little wanky way.

tad ot but I thought 'chan' was something like 'pedo'. Yet the site says that has art about teenagers (until 18 y/o)?

Chan = channel, not chan as in chanslash.

Wow, the /ic/ boards are very friendly for 4chan. On the other boards they rip artists to pieces- they're very serious about porn quality control.

Is s/he aiming for Matisse, Picasso, or kindergarten?

I mean, it's a nice enough picture, but why the kneejerk reaction when others refuse to agree it's art?

...oh. nevermind.

Ahh artist wank.

Further proof to why you should never ask how people like your work unless you want to hear the truth.

This here is some classy wank.
"There arises a joyous spontaneous interaction between the artist and medium, and hopefully the audience."
Unfortunately for her, it appears that the "spontaneous interaction" contains more mockery and less adoration than she expected, poor thing.

It comes out with trasparent vibrancy in life. Who can you say there is no feeling in it? She vibrates with excitement and happiness! It's a beauty who is just happy to be in your presence. Can't you guys see that?

A vibrating picture that's happy to see me? Sweet! I'll take five, please!

Hilarious. The artist even claimed to spend an entire hour on this piece. Does anyone here figure draw? You know, where you should be have a nicely shaded, anatomically correct drawing on newsprint after 45 minutes?

Man, it took me a while to even figure out what this was. All I could see was red.

And er...there's no top of the head. It's like there's no brain or something...::squints:: It looks like a badly rendered Buddha head. ::squints s'more:: A badly rendered red Buddha head.

And I thought most of the "negative" comments were quite constructive. Well, except for that last one.

And I'm with Dark, I'd be insulted too if someone implied I was not "filled with the holy spirit" because I didn't get his/her very bad art.

I don't know, I think troll. That's not an hour's work, not even an hour's bad work. I think somebody slapped that out in ten minutes and wanted to see how many pretentious art people they could sucker into thinking it was amazing. Red Herring, overbearing sanctimonious attitude, it can't be serious, can it? Can it?
