VGCats wank??
VG Cats is a fairly popular webcomic about video games and the comics are usually pretty funny. This week's update is no exception. Or is it?

Over at [info]vgcats_comic, wank is exploding. It all starts off very innocently, with people talking about the comic and how they find it funny. A few people, however, object and say they find it rather disgusting, but are good natured about it and don't make a bit deal.

Then [info]seenbutnotheard makes a comment about the comic no longer being either funny nor about video games. There are the usual replies of "You try making a comic then!" but nothing too wanky yet.

And then [info]cheesechimp comes in with the comment "That was extremely disgusting and unfunny." Some agree, others disagree and advise that perhaps they should stop reading the comic. Everyone's fine for a while, and then yet another steps forward and says This wasn't funny. And suddenly furry bashing works its way in! And from there it comes and goes with comments about it being funny mixed in with more people whining about it not being funny or not being about video games.

Not huge, but still...just wow.

[shrug] I didn't find it funny, really. Toliet jokes are a dime a dozen and South Park does better ones. Still, wtf does being a furry have to do with it? Tigerkakke seems to have been randomly dropped on his head to come up with some stupid ass reason like that.

Still, I love the poster who goes: Point well taken. I'm just saying the other guy brought it up. Meh, whenever a new comic comes out there's always a huge war between people who loved it or though it sucked. Brings out the worst! People digitally slapping each other! Back and forth! No one is safe! No opinion to small to pounce on! GOD I LOVE IT!.

Man, that'll teach me not to read all of the wank first. It's just that the artist himself gets that kind of thing so often I assumed that's what it was about. Thereby making an ass out of Um and Ed, or something. The real wank makes even less sense now.

VG Cats wank!! Awesome! That strip was... questionable in taste but it's always nice to know that some folks are so sensitive they can wank on just about anything XD Rock on! I just adore the "taste of suffering is too expensive for Krug" line!! I shall give that as the reason for not ordering veal the next time I have dinner at a steak house.

IMHO, the strip would have worked better if it'd been pared down to "the taste of suffering", but the toilet humor does not offend my Victorian principles.

They mention it in the wank a couple of times... there was originally a panel in there with Ternaldo screaming in the background and Pantsman saying something about going from 0 to 50 in drinks. They link the original in there somewhere. I don't know why he cut it off, it was funny.
