I'm a HUGE Carnivale fan and I was in the chat room with a BUNCH of the actors after the finale, I love that damn show and I'm PRAYING they renew it. *cries*

Yeah the imdb thing got quoted so much that the Carnivale LJ's are now telling people to STOP fucking quoting it, it's getting too many people upset, I'm like dude it's fucking imdb, home of the Countess for goodness sake.

I think I fell in love with Nick Stahl the moment when he didn't know how to change his font colour. Why it made me so happy that he's technologically incompetent, I have absolutely no clue - I think it's just the way everyone was yelling at him to change it and he just agreed and then several pages later he was like, "How?".

It's a wierd thing to have a fangirl squee about but it's my first time so I'm working my way up to "He's so hawwwwttttt!!!!111!!!!".

Oh and also totally agree on the smiting. It was another first with me actually shouting at my computer to shut the fuck up - in a normal situation I would have seen the futility of such a gesture - I was a good girl and knew that typing it in would just compound the problem and further add to the traffic. It was hell in a chatroom.

It was also pretty hilarious with the Clancy/Nick Red light/Green light fuck up. Me liked.

I've watched the series since it premiered, and to be honest, I was kinda disappointed by the very end. :-\

I thought it interesting how the 'prophets' displayed different powers and the corn field scene made me go WTF'eth. Granted, the 'prophets' are in Sophie's 'house' but... still, my gutt reaction was disappointment at the final scene. Otherwise, I didn't mind the finale.

	Icon love! Seriously. Dan's vision involves six seasons and everything, so... yeah, lots more to be done but they really could've done that scene better. Or ended on a better scene. There's more wanking of this nature over at TWoP in the "Should there be a season 3?" thread. Of course, it's dressed up more nicely than at IMDB and has better airs and graces but I'm getting kinda annoyed with all the people posting how Dan Knauf has let down his audience by not giving us an ending.

I'm one of the audience, since I've been watching the show since the beginning, and I don't feel let down by anything that happened in the season finale. Where's Strega when you need her? Why isn't she telling people not to generalise about other people's feelings? Oh yeah, forgot that she hates the show, so I guess we just can't generalise about people *liking* the programme because really that's just wrong.

I'm quite bitter but at least I've got my journalfen account working.

I miss Aaron. He was an awesome recapper and you could tell that he liked the show. Strega's just in it for the cash, and I have this theory that she's colouring the opinions of others. Not to mention, we know that DK does read that board. He'd better not take it to heart, because I'm NOT going to be happy if it's cancelled. I spent a good 30 hours downloading the second season!

	When it got to the point of getting 9 digests a day, I realised that there was no way I could keep up, so I left. I have a friend still in there, and she gets me the good stuff, but the rest I can take it or leave it. 1. Download/rent first season. Don't watch it in a marathon, and in fact don't watch two back to back. Your brain will melt -- I can assure you on this.

2. DON'T join the communities. It's bad.

3. Occasionally DK releases information, but I find that this isn't necessary to understand what's going on. I just watch and absorb -- much like a sponge! I've gotten good at predicting what's going to happen.

4. Don't apply logic. Especially not in the first season.

5. Watch Ben and Justin. Often.
