Lost Fandom/Gay Marriage Wank
First time poster here, so...hope everything is right!

The ever increasingly-wanky Lost fandom brings yet another gem, started with a post by chrissyinrevolt, who is wondering how many of the characters on the show are gay. S/he would especially like to see some Jack/Sawyer love. First commenters comment along the lines of, "That's hot." Next come the, "I always hoped that Boone would be gay" comments.

Then came the inevitable thread started by egytiger, stating, "if anyone on this show was like that i wouldnt watch it anymore. that kind of lifestyle is immoral and wrong and those people discust me."

Typos included.

Wank wreaks havoc.

Then the thread is frozen and nobody can respond.

So, egytiger starts another thread, and there are tons of biblical references, questioning of political party, and But Jesus loves all his children!.

Sorry about the weirdness of these caps-I've never done them before, and didn't really know the best way to go about it. I realized part way through that it would make sense to change the font size to smallest, but eh, what can you do. I'm glad the show isn't trying to be PC! This one's from a well known wanker, opalescence_. Apparently, on being gay: "It's *not* life."

Could have fooled me.

Surprisingly, msallegro turns up to defend the point that having gays on the island would not be PC, but real life, and ends up not being too wanky (and just makes a rather well-put point). Gasp.

Have no fear, though, because msallegro gets a question and responds with, "Nope, never been in a book group, but I'm rather notorious in LOTR fandom." Couldn't stay wank free for long.

Potential. The place is rank with it.
