HP wank in full effect

This wank took place over years and is a long and convoluted saga. But if there's any blanks to fill in, let me know.

ritalicious and royelin have been around the HP fandom for quite some time. Their identities seemed suspicious to some, but they were popular enough that nobody wanted to say anything.


Rita carried twins and one of them died after birth, and also knew JKR and her family owned Bloomsbury and knew Alan Rickman and a bunch of stuff like that. She was very well liked and was made a mod of Diagon Alley. She was "British," but spent the holidays in Houston to get presents from her eFriends.

Roy had a bunch of people in love with him by virtue of the fact that he was a male in the HP fandom. And bi. But something rang horseshit about him too, like the fact that he was a "freshman in Harvard Med School."

Ok so. Fast forward past a bunch of shit with them over 2002 and 2003. It is 2004 and a IRL meetup is planned. Evidently the sockmaster could not pass up a chance to meet her eFriends in the IRL, so, Rita and Roy disappeared and there was a new kid on the block, aka Faye_Kinitt. Nice, huh?

The first time that faye_kinnit (aka Angie) showed up on Diagon Alley, she came into chat. Several people were like WTF because she immediately started referencing people everyone had known like a year before, RPGs from a year before, but would not tell anyone who she was, etc. etc. Anyway, she proceeded as a happy board member until they suggested moving the meetup away from her town, and then went apeshit, called all the admins and mods Nazis and Hitler Youth (even the Jewish one) and left the cruel board forever. She went off to start a splinter board, Knockturn Alley, taking all the annoying people with her, and the original board couldn't have been happier. Knockturn Alley ended up having the meetup, part of which took place at her house.

Fast forward another year. Someone finds out that she and Rita are the same person. Someone digs up an address where they once sent presents to Rita, and lo and behold, there is public records of voter registration to the known husband of Faye_Kinitt with the exact same address listed!


But, Faye's friends are still in denial.

More proof is offered.

There's even talk of hiring a private investigator.

BONUS WANK: The name Donna, a friend of Angie/faye_kinnit_, is mentioned several times throughout. halogirl8 had this to add about her:

"As for Donna. Oy vay. This story just goes on and on. She used to be a mod at DA, and was demodded in conjunction with a newsletter about my copious evil [<--link added later] that was conceived by Angie (the one talked about in slytherkins journal.) She wasn't demodded for the newsletter, but her involvement was widely believed and Angie and the other people responsible for the newsletter essentially let her take the fall."
