My Fandom continues to embarrass me...

Indyloislane has a theory. She has analyzed Josh Groban's facial expression in recent photographs and has concluded that he's about to break up with his girlfriend.

Long time lurker here.

I didn't want to weigh in...but I really have to.

I don't see anger in Ms. Jones' face. But neither do I see great chemistry in either the red carpet videos or the photographs. I see boredom. I see "business date". I see "doing this for appearance's sake". I do not see a committed couple.

Mr. Groban's facial expressions and the entire way he carries himself these days seems to have changed since the Polar Express premiere in London.. quite possibly that ridiculous (my opinion only... save your flames) propaganda known as the South Africa I-am-now-aware-of-the-plight-surrounding-South-Africa-don't-know-what-cave-I've-been-living-in-that-I-only-got-it-now trip.

Not to sound schlocky but something in his eyes has died. His smiles in the GG pix with his "sweetie" looked forced and his eyes look empty. I've seen lots of photographs of our dear Mr. Groban and we always see the megawatt smile. His lips in these photos are not only closed... they're held closed. He's not having a good time and looks like he wishes the earth would open up and swallow just him. He also has a defensive air about him. The videos show a young woman who knows she's on sufferance and in the last one, she looked positively irritated. You know.. the one where she's lurking in the background.... talking to no one and no one is talking to her. Look again at it. No one wants to talk to her and the interviewer and her alleged boyfriend weren't chomping at the bit to give her any celluloid time.

Then there is that one photo... he is walking away from her. This is a man who has never really liked that "look this way, Josh... no look this way" deal from the photographers yet now he's seeking out the cameras and not bringing her along for her ever present ride on his coat tails. He has never, ever, walked away from a date that I've seen. He has had his picture taken singly and reluctantly stepped away from his date but never WALKED away from her or turned his back on her.

The Warner's after party pics bear closer inspection... at first they look real snugly..but he's barely touching her....his arm is around her but not touching her shoulder... his other hand is not touching her or embracing her. I've seen warmer embraces given to his fans.

Check the red carpet arm around each other photos again (if you can get past that glaring red lipstick and ill-fitting gown which looks one hell of a lot like Natalie Portman's). There's space between them where there never used to be.

I'll be very very surprised to hear anything permanent coming from these two. I think her 15 minutes of fame is up. There's not much more he can do for her at this point.</i>
