OMG make icons MY way, bitches!
You know a post is going to be good when it starts out with: "So perhaps this is out of line, and if that's the case, feel free to flame me all you want."

So there's this lj community called book_icons. Members make icons. Somehow related to books. Unfortunately, [info]necroscopics feels that most of the icons being made are sub-par. So he decides an inspirational post is the way to get those creative juices flowing in the way he wants them to.

As to the oft-repeated question of, "If you want something so damn bad, why don't you do it yourself?" [info]necroscopics replies: And maybe I will make it myself. But complaining about it and trying to inspire others is just SO much more fun!

ETA: The post has been deleted, sadly enough. [info]necroscopics did post again to say this:
Subject: Ha-ha!
I'm sorry I said anything. I should have known better.

Though, um. That has been deleted too.

ETA 2: The final post on the matter made by the mods. They delete all posts that have comments disabled, hence, his posts being deleted. And [info]necroscopics's final apology on the matter:
I disbaled comments to end the subject and issue an apology. That didn't work out so well.

I didn't realize no comment posts would be deleted.

And I'm sorry I said anything about the abundance of shitty icons icons I don't like.
(sic)
