Les Miserables mini-kerfuffle
Not as amusing as it undoubtedly was before someone got delete-happy, but still good for a snicker:

All the little fangirls in the [info]lesmiz community have discovered a new, exciting survey. So they all decide to share, despite repeated pleas from their fellow members to knock off the spam.

Finally it comes to a head with this little exchange:

this is pretty much the exact reason why I'm not a member of the rent or wicked communities on lj. I complained about surveys & quizzes, someone said IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT JUST LEAVE, and so finally said, fuck you, I will!
if it weren't for a fact that I'm a moderator of the broadway lj, I would have been out of there ages ago. broadway fans are weird, y'all.

Ugh, I was one of the original members of the first Wicked comm (was it wicked_musical or something like that?) after I saw it in San Francisco. Then it all got crazier and crazier and spiralled into one big green jello blob -- not unlike BroadwayWorld, actually -- and well, it was time to take my toys and go. ;-)

Yeah, that's kind of why I avoid the Les Mis communities on LiveJournal. I do love Les Mis, but most of them I've found are kind of content-free. I know I was a squeaky fangirl like most of them when I was sixteen, but I think I'll pass on a million posts about how people want to be Eponine in their high school production of the musical.

But give me some pseudo-intellectual Hugo snobs, and I'll be in there wanking with the best of them. You know, if I'm not already doing it here.

It's Champaign. It's at the Assembly Hall. The seats likely suck monkey balls and since top price was less than $50 anyway, everyone already hdd tickets.

The biggest wanker in that thread is on my Flist. I didn't realise she could be such a wanky bitch.
