Nothing new here... just classic Capslocked Badfic and the Cult of Self-Esteem idiocy, with a dash of added melodrama. If you crave variety, skip this one. If you're in the mood for an oldie-but-goodie, here it is.

YOU PEOPLE ARE *@$#%*& JERKS! WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM! OR HELPING AN AUTHOR?
WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD CREATE A SITE SO ALL THEY COULD DO IS PUT PEOPLE DOWN FOR GIVING A TRY AT SOMTHING?...I BET A MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE WHO POST ON THIS SITE HAVENT EVEN TRIED TO EVER WRITE A FANFICTION AND PROBABLY NEVER WILL, YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING?...YOU ARE DESTROYING PEOPLES SPIRIT..I HAVE A FRIEND WHO YOU SUED..AND YOU KNOW WHAT?..SHE USES WRITING TO GET THROUGH DEPPRESSION AND BECAUSE OF YOUR LITTLE POTTERSUES YOU NOW HAVE THE CRIME ON YOUR SHOULDERS OF DESTROYING HER WILL TO LIVE AND FOR HER TO START HURTING HERSELF..BECAUSE SHE STOPPED WRITING AND LETTING OUT HER EMOTIONS OUT IN A STABLE WAY...I DONT KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I DONT THINK I WOULD EVER WANT THAT TYPE OF THING ON MY SHOULDERS.
ALSO WHAT YOU ARE DOING IS PRETTY MUCH ILLEGAL... ON FANFICTION SITES IT SPECIFICALLY STATES AT THE BOTTOM OF EVERY PAGE WITH FANFICTION ON IT THAT EVERYTHING WRITTEN THERE BELONGS TO THAT USER AND THAT ONLY WHAT THEY HAVE DISCLAIMED CAN BE USED FOR FURTHER USE ON OTHER SITES WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION!

Responses as usual range from biting sarcasm to 'oh, boy! A troll!' to [info]pottersues herself calling the poster's bluff.

(And no, I'm not just posting this to prove I still exist! What would give you that idea?)

Um, actually, the characters in fanfic, by definition, belong to the original creators (except, of course, for Mary Sues).

Also, someone needs to hit this idiot with give this person a dictionary and have her look up what "constructive criticism" actually entails.

Actually, I read it as the author stopped writing, which was her way of "letting out her emotions in a stable way" and is now letting her emotions out by hurting herself, which is not stable.

Of course, if you're going to let an online community determine whether or not you act rationally then you probably should stop writing and get yourself to a shrink post-haste.

Thank you. It is somehow the icon I have that gets the most compliments. Though I never did manage to get the exclamation "Holy George Washington in a lucha mask!" to catch on.
