A troll has been trolled. How... bizarre.
[info]bitchoftheday was just a run-of-the-mill, not-worth-reporting troll until she got trolled and RP characters started commenting on her journal.

Then, things get both extremely wanky and just plain bizarre.

I think this was one of the trolls who wanted</> on F_W. Perhaps we ought not humour her.

Really? I didn't get that impression, though, my trolldar is admittedly horrible.

BotD and the one being accused of being her sockpuppet both seem to me like they're supposed to be jokes. Or is it just me?

I don't know. I'm going back and forth on BotD -- sometimes I think she's got to be a joke, like with the panda thing; nobody could be that dense, right? -- but sometimes I get the feeling she's frighteningly legit.

As for the other one...I don't know, but the ones make me incline to believe the person is at least semi-joking.

The use of the word "authoresses" is highly amusing, regardless. I thought the last people to seriously be called "authoresses" were like, the Brontë sisters.

I was too busy staring at the sock's icon to pay attention to the wank. Dude, it blinks and dances.

I was boggling over that as well. Also Queen's English? Do we still call it that?

Well, it does seem to be the trend around here...

In a Budapest bar, I had a Welsh guy swear up and down to me that he spoke "European English" and American English was the default when talking about English.

The weird thing is I've heard lots of people call it that. I'm American btw and so are the people I'm referring to. So no one in the UK actually calls it that?

Internets is the British variation on the American internet.

Since when was mocking G. W. Bush a British passtime? I thought it weas mostly us unintelligent Americans who bothered.
