It all starts with someone posting a story to Metafilter about a couple of goths thrown out of a screening for Tim Burton's Willy Wonka. They go home and write an aNGrY blog post.

Well, the Metafilter post descends into goth bashing as often happens when the goth!Jets step into the territory of the computernerd!Sharks.

I know you didn't mean it that way, but that sentence makes it sound like Goths are immigrants from Gothistan, or something, rather than just a buncha shmos in black nail polish.
