Just because you can spell "buttsex" out of "subtext" doesn't mean that there has to be a subtext in Darth Vader's actions, becoming a Jedi, the teachings of a Jedi, or a freaking RELIGION that comes from the Star Wars universe.

How's this for irony: When I saw Star Wars today, they showed a preview for the Card written game, Advent Rising. (Which, in action, looks awfully generic for an action game... But that is another wank!)

I don't know who I want to kill more. Card, for not getting the blatant Japanese-Shintoism ripoff that is the Jedi/the force/the entire Star Wars universe, or Lucas for ripping it off Kurosawa in the first place.

It’s one thing to put your faith in a religion founded by a real person who claimed divine revelation, but it’s something else entirely to have, as the scripture of your religion, a storyline that you know was made up by a very nonprophetic human being.

Awww. I saw Star Wars wank and hoped it'd be, oh, I dunno, RotS wank. But I guess fans and non-fans alike can agree on the failings & successes of that movie? I mean, even with my schoolgirl crush on Darth Vader since fourth grade, I'll admit the dialogue was nothing short of wanking itself.

So. Who's up for RotS wank? Or maybe just some Sith wank as opposed to Jedi wank. Why does the light side have all the fans? Sheesh. Lets get some love generated for the dark chocolate M&Ms. And why in the world don't I have a Star Wars icon?
