Fanficrants seems to be on a roll this week...
I got this from an anonymouse on [info]wank_report.

The OP posts a nonsensical fanfic for sporking and [info]iaml continues some wank from an earlier post (anonymouse, if you're reading this, post the backstory in [info]wank_report if you've got it, and I'll update).

The mousey's comment pretty much sums it up:

"You post too much, and then you deleted my comments.....YOUR ICONS ARE UGLY!!!!!111!!eleven!"

It was just posted today, and since this is [info]fanficrants, it'll grow. It hasn't wandered into the realm of tl;dr yet, so it's a must read. Enjoy.

There are worse offenders. I know of one person who's posted 9 rants this month, 11 last month, and 23 the month before that (four in one day!) And not only are they all concerning one fandom, they're almost all concerning a few minor characters. It's basically the same rant on OOCness over and over and over again.

I think if fanfics pissed me off that much, I'd...y'know...stop reading them. But that's just me. To each their own, I guess.

Yeah, every time I hunt for wank read the updates in fanficrants, she's got some new rant on the Inuyasha fandom, and quite often it's something no non-Inuyasha fan gives two shits about. Which is frustrating, because I have to look for other fandoms for wank, since it never seems to happen in Good Omens or Final Fantasy.

Why not in Good Omens? Before I fled the fandom in terror and resolved to only read fics by people I trusted and stay the fuck away from the fanart, I would have thought it was a breeding ground for wank. The first time I saw someone refer to Aziraphale as a "bishi", I think a part of my soul died.

The counting-her-posts thing...I blushed when I read that.

Once, I was on a yahoogroup with a batshit fellow fan who posted all day, every day. Great wank ensued, in which I was briefly prominant, and The MegaPoster was accused by several of substituting overkill for argument, contradicting herself in her gazillion posts, etc. To which she replied, "I do NOT post all the time, I do TOO have a life!!11eleventy! You mean grlz like the mean grlz in high school!"

(Or, you know, words roughly to that effect.)

Oh, and the "list mom" supported this claim that Ms. MegaPost didn't post so much.

This enraged me so much that, as it was a young community, I went back through the archives and figured out the percentage of the total number of messages belonged to Ms MP. Nearly a third, if I recall.

Then I sobered up and threw the list away. (Well, I mentioned it to a friend on private email and then I threw it away.) As I've left the group now, I have no idea whether she's still wanking away, but it seems likely.

I just shudder to think how close I came to being so FW-worthy.

...wow. "People" are saying this to her? I went back and looked at her earlier posts in the comm to see if there was previous wank involving iaml (hence the opportunity to count another member's posts,) and I didn't find anything. Maybe she's been deleting comments for quite some time?

The Piccolo girl, if that's who you're referring to, has been involved in GAFF wank. She wrote some story about a girl humping a log, people complained about it, Wandering_Namek, whom she seemed to have an internet crush on for a time, screamed about how we were all being MEEN to her. Since then, they've both dropped out of GAFF as far as I can tell.
