You do realize this is just a movie, right?
The LJ community comic_creators is normally a very non-wanky place where people may discuss comics, particularly their own, show off their artwork, talk about their story ideas or scripts, etc. And then... Along comics Metalhero who apparently thinks this is the perfect place to discuss Star Wars and how George Lucas OMIGOD TOTALLY RAPED MY SOUL AND TOOK MY CHILDHOOD OUT INTO THE ALLEYWAY BEHIND THE PORNO THEATRE AND BENT IT OVER A GARBAGE CAN AND FUCKED IT UP THE ASS etc. etc. ad nauseum, in a rant that we've all seen a million times, even before the damn Episode III came out.
A pretty wanky discussion ensues, as Metalhero calls anyone who doesn't think his irritating, off-topic rant was brilliant a "cock-jockey", and then claims that he's been "climbing the comedy ladder for going on four years now" (he's 19). (That's on top of telling a person who was politely challenging him that "you're wrong. End of story". What a charming, charming young man.)

As a special added bonus, this appeared TWICE on my friends list, but fortunately the mod at comicartist is a little more on the ball .

	I think there is one OVERRIDING problem with episodes I-III, something that MADE the original three and BROKE the second three; GOOD MUSIC! The original three had John Barry on board, and he made the imperial march, the cantina song, Luke's music, etc etc etc. The new three just seems to have bad/unmemorable music, or rehashes of the imperial march. sporfle (Reply to this)(Thread)

You know, I grew up with the original Star Wars, and no, I have not been too fond of the recent installments.....but I do have enough sense to recognize that it's George Lucas' universe, and he's writing it the way he sees it. I don't think he's the greatest with dialogue or continuity - but for the love of Yoda, you don't see me whining and bitching and moaning about 'OMGMYCHILDHOODISRUINEDWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
