rec.arts.drwho wank!
Oh noes! The homosexuals are taking over teatime television!

In the latest episode of Doctor Who, Captain Jack all but comes out of the closet. The Doctor and Rose are markedly unconcerned over this fact, thus making it "okay" to be a gay omnisexual. And there are accusations of gaydom thrown from one character to another. Whatever shall we do? THINK OF THE CHILDRUUUN!

http://groups-beta.google.com/group/rec.arts.drwho/browse_thread/thread/876f8dafedc3fb9f/774948d2c6ed42a0#774948d2c6ed42a0

FairPlay foams at the mouth in a thread titled "Humiliated Homosexual Apologists Sign In Here:" From day 1 I suspected his (Russell T. Davis) motivations were to take a mainstream Childs programme and hijack it to use as a vehicle to promote his own homosexual agenda. There is absolutely no doubt about it now. My concerns have been justified in spades. The apologists who have made vile personal attacks on myself now have nowhere to go. I have been explicitly vindicated. You are definitive losers. There is no longer any need for me to post on shit DW newgroups inhabited by faggots, juveniles and obsessed fanboys.

And legions of fans on rec.arts.drwho held their collective breath and crossed their fingers in hope that FairPlay was, indeed, leaving their ranks. FOR-EV-ER. Alas, it was not to be.

Robert Moir shares his thoughts about the gay accusation scene: Everyone thought the wife had an "arrangement"; the implication was it was sexual. It was actually her husband who had the arrangement; possibly sexual possibly not.

808 sneers: "Messing about with" is a pretty standard euphemism. If you want to argue that it's appropriate then fine, I don't really have a strong opinion either way, but don't insult the intelligence of everyone on this group by claiming that the implication was anything other than sexual.

The Bronze adds: I agree the 'gay' reading of the line is totally valid. But it's not the only one.

Dude. It totally is.

Slitheen edumacates us all.

And thus The Bronze comes up with a nifty new idea for a new Gay-Agenda-Approved Doctor Who episode: Perhaps RTD should write a story in which the Doctor and Rose go to a planet where there are indeed no gays - and see how crippled and primitive its arts and culture and forum of ideas would be!

Finally! A voice of reason!

Don't be gay, Sparky! Don't be gay!

Thankfully, Slitheen pipes up to observe how "annoyingly obvious" we heteros are.

Best WTF moment for me so far: "There was a joke about Peri standing on the Doctor's penis." Heh. We eventually get the whole story.

Also: RTD needs a wife. LOL! Oh, Doctor! You so crazy!

Finally, FairPlay calls us out for the "muppets" we gay-loving DW fans truly are: Its pornographic because clearly it is tutrning the scriptwriters on that not only can they get away with doing it, they can also get muppets like you to excuse it.

Oh noes! The Homo Lobby strikes again!

Be gay and get extra from your butcher!

And on and on it goes, without end. It only proves that FairPlay is a drama queen with a deep-seated desire to be ridiculed and ritually caned in public, preferably by a gang of gays.
