So the Metal Gear Solid fandom is usually pretty quiet- which is a bit surprising, considering it tends to be divided into two extreme halves, the slash fangirls and the anti-slash group. What we have here today doesn't even have anything to do with that!

Someone called [info]5exy515 posts to the general community, to share her picks for a possible live action movie based on the third game. She, unfortunately, decides that Tom Cruise is a great choice to play our hero Snake. (The rest of us collective hold our breath, waiting for the first person to blast her.)

[info]hardrockfoo rages, using some of the most amazing spelling I've seen in my life. [info]jinkaku thinks that a movie would detract from the experience, and turn the series into a "mainstream, milked franchise". (Uhhhh...) [info]hardrockfoo responds with something pretty much equivalent to AMERIKANS R DUM, [info]jinkaku IS A PROUD AMERICAN DAMMIT, [info]red_eyed_yoshi is one haughty Canadian, and [info]invisible_dante is desperately trying to correct Rock Foo's spelling.

Oh, Big Boss would be so proud of these people. Fight the power, guys.
