Aw, man, I remember back when one of my good friends was in the Slayers fandom and I kinda tagged along with her for fun little MSTs and RPs...we used to have long discussions about Slayers ships, squeeing over the Zelgadis/Amelia and Lina/Gourry and Xellos/Filia OTPs and she'd talk about why Zel/Lina and Xel/Zel and Gourry/Amelia and Xel/Lina and other such pairings annoyed her and broke her brain, and share badfic/rabid fan experiences featuring said pairings...and I just smiled and nodded and was like "I gotta see this for myself, so I know more of what you're talking about!"...ah, those were the days.
