Love, deep-seated love

Indeed to live with each other we need not only accept the love into our hearts but also, learn to let it gush forth and reach out, sprinkling and showering goodness upon people around us.

In that newfound spirit of sharing, I have something to say that I wanted to say as publically as I could, and I am overjoyed that fandom_love finally gives me a place with high exposure to do just that. *love for fandom_love*

I love MsAllegro. I know it might seem insincere to some, but it is not so. I am many things, but I am not an insincere person. Some others have difficulties with positive feelings towards MsA, but not I. She might be flawed, but who here isn't? Let he who never sinned cast the first stone, say I, secure in my knowledge that we are all sinners.

To help you understand why I love MsAllegro, and for the stragglers not yet on board with the love permeating our atmosphere in such high concentration today (bless!) *eyes [info]cesare in the corner, sadly*, I will now share with you a very personal history of, you guessed it, love.

When I joined the Lotrips fandom, hate was everywhere, hate and suffering. Many people believed that Dom and Elijah were a couple, and many others did not, and those two groups were waging an incessant, crazy and hushed war in locked posts and forums, on DL and on LJ - the pain and dissension were deep, everywhere you went fangirls were wailing. I, at first, blithely ignored it, content to read various pairings in the fandom, having no particular favorite, dipping my toes in the waters of fandom with no purpose.

I discovered MsA, and found that she was at the source of one of the 'camps' (such a silly, loveless way to look at it), and that she believed and spread her belief that the two hobbits were involved, in a mushy One TwuWuv kinda way.

With others (*LOVE to them!*), I embarked in two great parallel adventures, that of [info]dl_anon and that of Hollyweirdos. I realise now that the pleasure I took from those two adventures was crass and low, since it was born out of mockery - which is, as we all know, an evil, soulless activity. But the fun was there at the time, nonetheless, and I need to thank MsA for it. Without her I would have laughed so little in the past two years, my life could as well have been spent under a rock; and now as I repent for that mean (ex-)pastime of mine, allow me to treasure the very source of it and let affection shine in her direction.

There is more than that in my feelings for MsA, though, so much more than that. It is her efforts for the gay love of Elijah and Dom that molded me into a D/E shipper; it is Hollyweirdos, born directly out of MsA's fandom crusade, which gave me urges to write more, to write shippy, love-filled fanfiction about those two lovely, lovely actors. It is thanks to MsA that I have met [info]cesare and ended up co-writing page upon page of romance with her. *takes a moment of mourning silence for Ces, who refuses to see the light* *sniffs*

Truly, MsA brought love into my life, and I want to thank her and return that love tenfold to her. Join me, friends of fandom_love, to send love and light to MsAllegro today!

*passes candles around*
