I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to childfree. I know that in the past I've referred to you as "the unhappiest place on Earth," but I see now that that was uncalled for - and probably hurtful. I'm so sorry. I now see that you are not to be mocked, but pitied, for you have never known the simple pleasures like the laughter of a boy as you lift him on to your lap and tickle him. I hope that some day you will open your hearts to the children and love them as I do.
