Anon memes, it's been so long!
I'm surprised no one's reported this sooner. ...or maybe they have, and I'm crazy.

Anyway, it's everyone's favorite breeding ground for wank, The Anon Meme! And to make it even better, apparently half the HP fans on LJ ran across it because there's a lot of pent-up rage being vented. Yes, you'll find everything from individual LJ user hate to the age issue in the fandom, with a sprinkling of some rather amusing comments here and there. So basically nothing new.
4000 comments thus far, though I don't expect too much more as it was posted yesterday. But who knows?!

ETA: As a sweet and kind mouse so nicely pointed out, the wank is sadly lacking. But there's still hate and amusing comments for all! So if you're looking for juicy wank, might want to skip this one. However, if you're really bored and looking for easy amusement, stop on by!

I love the person who defends bookofjude from accusations of pretense.

Hahaha. I understand limits and functions (vaguely-- passed Calc 2, go me!) and I still don't see the POINT. It's not a lack-of-comprehension issue, it's... wouldn't it just be easier to write "I LIKE CALCULUS"? ~~So we can all properly mock him for that, I mean.~~

Is this a function particularly dear to his heart or something? Is this the function that will save the world? DOES HE HAVE IT TATTOOED ON HIS ASS? That would be funny.

Oh my god, I know what you mean! Is there anything more pretentious than people who sometimes mention something *they* find interesting but *I* don't?

I know this one chick whose hobby is photography, and she has *a picture she took* up on her user info. And there's this Christian I know who has a quote from the *Bible* on hers. And this other girl mentions some fandom I've never even heard of! What a bunch of pretentious little cunts! They're obviously trying to make *me* feel inferior by talking about things I'm not into!

	I haven't done calculus in ages...and yet I understand that. I'd have been more impressed had s/he used actual equations instead of f(x) and g(x), because once you state the standard formula, the fun part is breaking it down into something less awkward. Old people. More specifically, old people on lj. I get that they'll always be around, but I don't want to see them or hear about their grandkids. I can't read smut written by someone's grandmother - I just can't do it.

If "smut written by someone's grandmother" exists, that's a good thing. It stands to reason that someone who has been around for a while would have had more experience and be a more eloquent writer, no?
